Welcome to CubeQuest!
CubeQuest is a very large, somewhat difficult take on a survival/adventure modpack which focuses less on linear progress and railroaded quests and more on an open-ended world for you to explore and hopefully not be killed like eighty-thousand times. (Although you are very likely to die at first.) Why be locked into one path in a modpack when you can make your own Quest?
(IT IS RECOMMENDED TO RUN CUBEQUEST WITH AT LEAST 8 GB OF RAM ALLOCATED TO THE INSTANCE)
Features
CubeQuest is a huge modpack with over 300 unique mods, meaning there is quite a lot for you to do in the modpack, from building to exploration to combat!
Building
CubeQuest features the addition of hundreds, if not thousands, of unique building blocks from mods such as Supplementaries, Valhesia Furniture, and more!
Combat
CubeQuest features several mods, most notably the Better Combat mod, to enhance and reinvigorate 1.20.x Minecraft combat into a system which actually feels fun (and sometimes difficult)! Wield a variety of two-handed, one-handed, or throwable weapons to your heart's desire and wear, enchant, and trim a variety of new, unique armors as well!
Survival
Make sure to keep an eye on your thirst bar (hint hint: craft a campfire cauldron to purify water) and your modified hunger bar to stay alive! (Eat a diverse set of foods to properly fill up, no more steak-spamming!) Also try not to die to mobs, which is a given, albeit a bit harder in this modpack.
World Generation
Experience beautiful mountains, deep caves, vibrant forests, and more in this modpack! Travel through many new and improved generated structures, both dangerous and friendly!
Adventure
Have fun taking on dungeons, the natural elements, and even several moderately-to-severely tough new boss fights! Also, visit two new dimensions as well as revamped versions of the Nether and End dimensions!
Shader Support?
Yes! Shaders are supported thanks to the wonderful Iris Shaders mod!

FOR THE ORIGINAL MODPACK EXPERIENCE, USE THE VERSION BELOW THIS ONE.
I've recently lost motivation to work on this modpack for a variety of factors, instead opting to most likely start a new modpack sometime in the future. This is what I have worked on so far for a reboot of CubeQuest; if I ever get motivation to work on this again it will be based off of this modpack, but with a fully fleshed out quest tree and possibly some other changes as well.

Removed Distant Horizons and Re-Added Fog Looks Good Now
As cool as Distant Horizons is, it is absolutely NOT ready to be used in a massive modpack like this, and its incompatibility with Fog Looks Good Now and massive amount of lag (at least on my device) just didn't sit right with me.
If you want to try and use it yourself, remove Fog Looks Good Now and try messing with DH's settings a bit.
Also updated some mods to their newest versions :)

It's two point oh! Distant Horizons? Three (possibly more) more dimensions? Huzzah! I've never seen an update so prolific in my life!
Also did a bunch of tiny tweaks and bugfixes and stuff but what do you care :P

Removed/replaced a bunch of incompatible mods (nothing game-breaking)
Decluttered the config folder
Removed Better Clouds due to incompatibility, replaced it with some tweaks to the global resources pack
Fixed a bug where loading/creating/playing in a world would skyrocket the size of the latest.log to over 1 million KB (Yes, I'm serious.)
And most excitingly...
Big UI update! new loading, menu, and world creation screens/logos as seen below:

Big update here, mostly because this is technically the sixth major update version, but I was advised to remove the dysfunctional uploads from the site. :D
Changelog: Removed BedrockWaters due to crashes with Sodium Added Lithium, Let's Do Brewery, Amendments (forked from Supplementaries) Removed Better Lily Pads due to redundancy w/ Amendments features Added Sit & Crawl (because they're cool) Updated a ton of mods (and also QFAPI and Quilt Loader) to their newest versions
Went through hell to get a functioning .mrpack file because my stupid computer won't output correctly or something...
Overall, I'm glad to say it finally loads in all the correct files and mods!

Added 4 EMI addons, added 2 F&F addons, added the newly-updated modrinth versions of sketchmacaw's building mods, as well as: Visuality Drip Sounds Supplementaries Squared Voice Chat Interaction Wiretap Simple Voice Radio And also updated multiple mods. Also replaced fastmove with wall-jump txf and removed recipe book delight (redundant) and air hop (now redundant)
