ApostleCraft aims to satiate those desires. Same freedoms. More Minecraft.

I, Apostrex, created this modpack to play with my friends. It incorporates many of our individual interests, but also derives from a couple of key influences in my Minecraft career! I was originally hooked by Dawncraft—absolutely mesmerizing, but way too hardcore for a general audience. Then I tried the modpack built for The Pond Project, which focused on community engagement. It had heart, but lacked the depth and features I’d come to love.

That got me thinking about all the classics I’d played—FTB Revelation, FTB Infinity, and Age of Engineering. Tons of content to keep things fresh, though AoE’s progression felt a bit too grindy for my taste.

So, ApostleCraft was born. A slightly harder, progressionless, sandbox exploration modpack with a little bit of everything. Massive landscapes and seemingly endless creative direction offered by a wide range of customizations.

So head out, traveler! Or don't. Stop by the tavern at the local village and sit for a spell. I hope you and your friends enjoy.

Plans for the future!

  • Adaptive Music presently has a bug where it can still be heard even when Master Volume is set to 0. Mod devs are working on this. It will be updated in this pack when that happens.
  • Pam's HarvestCraft is supposedly set to release on Fabric at some point. Once it does, it will be added to this pack.

Performance Notes:

  • Recommended Server Specs:
    • Core Speed: > 3.2Ghz
    • RAM Size: > 20Gb
    • RAM Speed: > 3200hz
  • Recommended Client Specs:
    • Core Speed: > 3.2Ghz
    • RAM Size: > 16Gb

This modpack is huge and resource heavy. It is recommended for server-use only.. But, if playing Single Player, the game will stall after clicking "Single Player" for the first time or any time you click "Create New World". This is normal. Just sit still and let it process. There are a lot of things loading here.

On a standard boot of the Modpack with the above specs, you should expect a wait of roughly 120s from boot to menu appearance.

Included in this modpack is the Bliss shaderpack, chosen for it's compatibility with Distant Horizons. This is NOT a release version of Bliss shaders, rather it is an in-dev version.

ChronicleCraft 1.1.0 is a greatly reduced version of the pack. Do to inconsistent results in 1.0.8 and 1.0.9, it was decided that there were unnecessary mods and features that didn't quite fit the goal of this project.

Many mods were removed. One mod was added. The mod "Paxi" was added to allow for implementation of resource packs without distribution of the options.txt file.
