Enhanced Weather

Notice: This project is discontinued, however, I am currently working on a new weather mod to replace it: Deluge. Stay tuned for it's eventual release!

This mod revamps Minecraft's Weather by adding localized weather effects and a volumetric cloud system.

Some features include:

  • Moving Volumetric Clouds
  • Wind
  • Localized Rain, Snow, Thunderstorms, and Hail
  • Rainbows!!!
  • Tornadoes (WIP)
  • Doppler Radar to track wind and storms

NOTICE Version 1.1 is a revamped version of Enhanced Weather, which differs from the 1.0 version, if you want the older version, then download 1.0 instead of 1.1. I WILL NOT BE PROVIDING ANY SUPPORT FOR VERSION 1.0, ANY ISSUES OPENED RELATING TO IT WILL BE CLOSED IMMEDIATELY

  • Switched to OwO Lib for configurations since Cloth Config doesn't support server side mods
  • Added a Dimension Whitelist for enabling weather in certain dimensions (ones not in the list will be disabled)

Completely revamped the entire mod, rewritting it from the ground up. Some new features include:

  • Volumetric Cloud System
  • Rainbows
  • Better Doppler Radar
  • Particle-based Precipitation
