About

AX's QOL PACK is a lightweight Minecraft modpack created to share my vision of the perfect Minecraft experience here on Modrinth. This pack combines some mods that enhance performance and improve quality of life (QOL) in the game, to give you a smoother and more enjoyable experience without compromising stability or compatibility.

AX's QOL PACK includes modern performance mods like Sodium, Lithium, and many others, that I have handpicked to optimize your game and reduce lag and stutter on many devices.

Quality of Life Improvements

From custom menus and better animations to useful utilities and UI tweaks, this pack adds lots of QOL features that make Minecraft more enjoyable without changing the core gameplay.

Compatibility and Flexibility

Built on Fabric, AX's QOL PACK supports a lot of mods and resource packs. It works well with vanilla servers and can be customized by adding your favorite mods on top.

FAQ

Q: How do I install or update the modpack?

A: Just download the version you prefer in the .mrpack file format or install it easily with the Modrinth App! To update the pack, you can either re-download it from this page or simply update it through the built-in “Update Modpack” function in the Modrinth app.

Q: I have a suggestion for something you could change. How can I share it?

A: Reach out to me on Discord @SonoAX, I’d love to hear your ideas.

Q: Does this modpack require server-side mods?

A: No, AX's QOL PACK works perfectly on any vanilla server. However, please be aware that future updates of some mods included in the pack may alter game behavior in ways that certain server anti-cheat systems could flag as suspicious. I am NOT responsible for any bans or penalties that may result from using this modpack on servers with strict anti-cheat measures. Always check server rules and permissions before playing with mods.

Q: Can I add my own mods to this pack?

A: Absolutely! Since it’s built on Fabric, you can easily add mods you like to further customize your experience.

2.4 Beta for 1.21.6 - Hi Again!

Hello, It's been quite a while since I last updated this pack, it's just that personal and school life have taken sooo much free time and I just haven't been able to work on this project.

Before you read the changelog for this version, I want to thank all of you guys who have downloaded this modpack and tried it out, it really means a lot to me. Even if 500+ downloads might not seem like a lot, they are still a huge success for me as a small creator to see my content being somewhat appreciated by this wonderful community. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Anyways, here's the changelog for this new version:

Added:

  • Added a few new images in the gallery section of this modpack, check them out!
  • Rethinking Voxels (shader pack) by gri573
  • Super Duper Vanilla (shader pack) by Eldeston
  • Mellow (shader pack) by TheCMK
  • Angel's Weather (resource pack)

  • LambDynamicLights - Dynamic Lights by LambdAurora

Changed:

  • Modified the description of the modpack to credit all the projects used, as I should have done from the start (my bad, sorry).
  • Updated the mods and fabric loader versions to the latest as of writing.
  • Finally reintroduced some previously incompatible mods: Distant Horizons, Falling Leaves, CreativeCore, Drip Sounds, ToadLib, Visuality, Presence Footsteps, FerriteCore, Tiny Item Animations and Debugify.
  • Adjusted sounds volumes of Minecraft and Presence Footsteps to not render unable to hear any poor soul that plays at max volume XD.
  • Tweaked shader settings for the best visual experience (WARNING: The shaders are now set to the highest available preset by default. Please adjust this if your computer can't handle it.)

1.21.1 UPDATE BABY!

Changed:

  • Added a cubic panorama to all possible screens (please, let me know if I missed one).
  • Replaced Starlight with ScalableLux for compatibility issues.
  • Replaced Borderless Mining with Cubes Without Borders for the same reason as above.

Removed:

  • Dashloader since it has currently no version available for 1.21.x and no alternatives.
  • LazyDFU for the same reason.
