Fertility is an overhaul of Minecraft with a cozy and purposeful feeling. Feed Villagers and traverse a steep progression curve! Custom gameplay changes adding more grind but also reward you with completly new perspectives on the game! Happy farming!

With the current release, I am very happy with the mod pack. It runs stable on my private server with my wife, we are having a good time there and with the latest additions and changes we feel good with it. And I hope, you do too <3You can add FTB Quests (and dependencies) manually to this modpack to enjoy a quest line. Due to licensing I can not add FTB Quests directly.

Getting started quick tips
Find a village to have some villagers. Gather as many crops as you can during your first few days and set up a decently big farm. Crops grow slow, so think big. As soon as you can, get a few villagers and give them jobs. They sell better tools, resources and technology. Get a fletcher first. They will sell you a selling bin. This will make earning money fast possible. Craft a trading post and set it up in your village. There you can quickly find all trades without running to every villager individually.📌 Features:
Over 800 food items!
Every villager will select up to two random food items for each level, with each getting harder to make. Can you fill their needs? Based on Farmer's Delight, there are mods like Create: Food, End's Delight, Ube's Delight, a custom version of Farmer's Respite, Brewin' and Chewin and many more adding a broad selection of eatables! All production lines and prograssion steps have been carefully designed resulting in hundreds of custom recipes!
Technology blocks must be bought from Villagers!
By leveling up your villagers they will sell you powerful technology and tools based on their profession and level. Unlock mighty machines, enchanted tools and easy resources! Set up contraptions from the Create Mod, adding kitchen elements with Slice 'n Dice and even offering you ComputerCraft to automate your farm with code! Learn how to control little drones to take care of your crops for you! Powered by our own custom version of Numismatic Overhaul you get money to spend money!
Build your unique village, town or megacity!
With a few selected building block mods you have more than enough at your disposal to build anything you can imagine! Set up a cute village with lots of town folk roaming around buying your produce, or lock them up in an highly-efficient noodle soup factory - we don't judge! Grow different crops in specialized biomes and dimensions and connect them by building your very own fast-travel road system with Via Romana!
Food has nutritions which give effects!
You not only take care of your villagers, but also yourself. NutritionZ activates your nutritional needs. All food items have been customized to give you points in 5 different needs which will unlock powerfull bonuses to you - if you eat properly. But lacking certain nutritions will resolve in you being more vulnerable than ever!
A living, beautiful World
Enhanced world generation by Tectonic and a few extra biomes from Nature's Spirit, Aquamirae, Geophilic, Twigs and Spelunkery! Immersive Weathering further enhancing your world by making plants grow everywhere around you! Seasons change and bring rain and snow to your home, changing the behaviour of your crops and cattle! Further immersive yourself in the wilds with an advanced soundscape, rolling thunder and beautiful new particles!
All new game machanics!
Fertility is packed with game altering mods and custom scripts! Grind down grain not just with heavy machinery but also manual labour. Crack stone bricks with a pickaxe or wash dirt with a sluice to gain a few extra resources! Do you love to build rusty stuff? Well, put down some iron fences and watch them oxidize, especially while it is raining! Tired of breeding chicken? Just leave their eggs on a haybale and they will hatch themselves!
Return to the GRIND!
Custom ore generation, custom ore loot tables and custom gameplay changes make managing resources more tedious but also so much more rewarding! Create's automatic ore machines will not work anymore, as ore generation has been disabled for those machines! Ore veins will be harder to find as all metals have been made rare - yet again, when you find them, they will be huge and take days to deplete! But be sure to bring good tools, because ores will drop more, the better your tool is! The enchanting table has been removed, rendering you dependant on the fortune of your villagers to provide you with magical books from their ancient knowledge! Setting up a farm will also demand more of you than just your little average plot. Crop growth has been significantly decreased, while also being dependant on the biome or season. Think big to reap big results!

New, cute animals to pet and breed with Naturalist, Mythic Mounts (End Game only!)! New Monsters and variants roam the land and darkness, if you are feeling brave tonight!
Special In-Game Guide Book <3 (and Advancements)
Fertility help you play the game and achieving your goals with a handy little in-game guide book and a lightweight advancement tab. Are you a completionist looking to collect every advancement in game or a cozy farmer with nothing but sunshine and crops on your mind - the truth probably lies in the middle somewhere. Do what you want!
Days are longer, nights are easier!
Fertility changes the day-night cycle a bit, offering you longer days to tend to your farm and take care of everything on your plate. Nights are therefore a bit shorter and usually not that many monsters come out on the surface. But be careful in caves...
Daily Shop for decorations!
At the Daily Shop you will have the chance to buy new decoration every day! The shop offers items, that you can not craft by yourself! Paying it a visit every day is very rewarding!
Bounties for some spice!
Looking for quick and easy money? If you are stress resistant enough for quickly running timers and random orders, head on to the next Bounty Board and grab yourself a ticket! The fast and handy will be rewarded lots lots of money and the occasional treasure!
Performance optimized!
Fertility comes equipt with eye-candy like Shaders and Distant Horizons - both turned off by default. To compensate for all that added content, this modpack features the best optimizations out there, while also being tweaked as good as possible with configs and settings. Don't believe anybody who claims magical frame rates, but we do our best to offer every hardware the options they can carry!
Multiplayer first!
Fertility is designed to be played together! While you certainly can master the challenges offered alone, things get easier and more fun with friends! Specialize your productions and barter with each other for money or goods! Use Teams and Claims to divide the endless land! Or meet up and chat with Proximity Voice Chat!
VR ready - just activate both ViveCraft mods and go! <3
For the stereoscopic beings out there Fertility comes with Vivecraft installed (but off by default). Immerse yourself in this world and fully dig in to the work of feeding the hungry!

Fertility is quite stable at this point! All systems and mechanics I wanted are in there now and balance feels fine to me. Version 2 will be a long running, stable version.

Ah, finally! You packed your little bag, got some sandwiches, a fishing rod and the knife your mother gave you - and off you go! There have been tales of hungry villages all across the land and no decent farm to feed them!
Find your spot on these beautiful islands, build your campo, grow as much stuff as you want and cook it up! Maybe even help out the hungry neighbours? They might offer you more than just a smile!
Fertility is a modpack build around Farmer's Delight, Create and CC:Tweaked. Your journey is spiced up with an extended hunger system and nutritious needs, but also lots of food related items and a focus on automation. You will need to think about setting up small factories and systems to supply you with resources as ore gathering by hand is made a very tedious task.
❓FAQ
- Mining is so slow!
- This is by design: get better tools or level up your villagers. They will sell you resources, too! Mining by yourself is nerved: you will need better tools to yield more drops from mining. Mechanical drills will have the best output. Further machanical processing will also increase materials.
- I can't find ores!
- Ore generation is different here, too: all ores are now clumped together and less frequent. So, you will need to search harder but once you find a vein, you will find plenty!
- My crops don't grow fast enough!
- Also a design choice. You are encouraged to set up bigger farms and tend them properly. In case you want to enhance your farm, think about using rich soil and fertilizer.
- Some of my crops don't grow at all!
- Crops grow dependent on the current season. In winter most crops will not grow at all.
- My animals don't breed!
- Animals will not breed in winter.
- Why do I have negative effects all the time?
- Establish a healthy diet: by mixing up your food, you can get additional positive effects. All food items have nutritional values.
- I don't know where to start!
- Find a village or set up one yourself. Then, get more villagers!
- I cant find seeds or crops!
- All crops can be found in the world but might take some time to be discovered. Some just grow in special biomes others just in the nether. Still there are other ways to get seeds! Set up a bounty board with a Seed Market decree or find a wandering trader. You can also find seeds by washing dirt in sluices.
- I have more questions!
- Read the in-game guide book or join discord for help ;)
- I can't see villager trades in EMI on my server!
- It's a bug with the EMI Trades mod. Workaround: join a Singleplayer world first, and then join your server.
- Some mods have updates already! Can I update them?
- Do whatever you want, but things might break. This modpack has a lot of changes and scripts for the specific version of some mods used. So, if you do update, I can not help you.
This modpack would not be possible without all those amazing mods providing additions to Minecraft!

This modpack uses a modified, forked version of Numismatic Overhaul. Without this great mod this pack would not be the same! Thank you! Also, I have added custom modified versions of some other mods, keeping the original mods attached but replacing them with my modded versions. Hybrid Aquatic, Farmers Respite, EMI Trades, Galosphere, Tinkerer's Smithing - alls of those mods are fantastic and I deeply thank the people involved creating them <3

Friends, this is it! After months of playing and balancing, customizing and expanding, it is done.
I am very happy with the pack now. This whole project was started to create a mod pack for my wife and me for our private server as a permanent world. And now it is exactly that.
With this version you get private claims to land, as well as the possibility to buy additional claims from villagers. also, villager behaviour has been overhauled. They are a bit smarter now, offer changing wares (and needs!) and have a few more structures available now. To make life a bit easier, i have increased crop growth and made the Trading Post craftable right away.
To add a bit of fun to the exploration side of things, I included Roguelike Dungeons into the pack now, so you can go out and slap if you want. If you want to add them to your current world, you can use the command /roguelike to generate new dungeons.
This update adds effortless p2p network Multiplayer so you can play with your friends anywhere without a server. Just open up a game as you would usually and share the new multiplayer link with your friends!
Also, I have added cosmetic armor slots, removed litematica again (as I think using Create's schematics table works better) and again, added more custom compats and little tweaks!

This update adds more sea life, a mini game for fishing and some more Quality of Life additions. I was enjoying exploring the oceans, but needed more!
Also, Fertility now comes with SCHEMATICS! Use them with litematica or Create. I'll be adding more in the future.
And: I worked on a Questline. It is still in early development, but if you want, download FTBQuest from curseforge and try it out!
As I am resetting my private server for a new world, this update also has Continents (disabled by default). I recommend it, but you do you.
Important! IllagerInvasion is removed now. This should be alright for your worlds, but remember to make a backup.

Updating a few mods, adding a bit of cuteness and still polishing stuff. Also, internally I am testing FTB Quests to find out, if Fertility would benefit from it.

The year comes to an end and I do wish you all a very merry time! With this update Fertility gets a few new features, late-game additions and a big balancing overhaul!
The big one first: Villager needs have been reworked to provide a better progression. So in case you start a fresh run, you will enjoy a more clear path with what those hungry noses are wanting!
Many recipes have been touched and selling bin prices changed.
Furthermore I expanded on the righ-click mechanics from Immersive Weathering, adding all cracked variants from twigs to the mix. Now you can customize and texture your builds more easily.
And one last big one for the late-gamers here: on master level the toolsmith will now sell a drill head base. With this tool, you can now start serious mining operations. Before this addition, it was not possible to establish an infinite iron/metal setup with Create. Now, you can look for resource nodes and (in a very complicated way) set up a permanent material miner. Take a look for the in-game explanation, if you dare!

This is supposed to be the last update until 2.0.
WIth this update I bring one last batch of QoL and balancing as well as some new recipes and one new Mod: Scout.
You now have a bit more options for mobile storage :)
Please be advised: some villager trades have been changed and will only affect new villagers.
Also, with this version I prepare the public server. If you want to join, please join the discord.

Again an update I'm very proud of: some machanics have been tweaked to come even closer to the games overall vision.
There are some new scripts for special events that you might hopefully experience.
Also, as always, I polished some recipes and tags, worked on balance and coherence.
Some mods have been slightly customized to offer more fun with this modpack.

Thank you for playing while this pack slowly evolves!
This update contains mod updates, fixes for a few minor recipe issues and scripting problems, some tag changes but most importantly some more quality tweaks to improve gameplay.
You can now process silt more freely as well as crack brick walls in two stages - but also repairing those with mortar and bricks. This further enhances the interplay between various mods with Immersive Weathering.
Also noteworthy: there is now an advanced recipe for producing bone meal mechanically for your mid- to late-game farms.
