Reimagined Vanilla
Welcome to Reimagined Vanilla! A meticulously curated modpack for Minecraft 1.20, designed to kindle your spirit of exploration, to immerse you in the thrill of danger, and to fill your world with wonders waiting to be discovered. This project springs from a deep-rooted love for Minecraft and a yearning to rekindle the sense of mystery, exploration, and discovery we all remember from our first days in this vast sandbox. From the wonder of "What's behind that mountain?" to the curiosity of "What lies beneath that ravine?"—we've strived to revive these feelings with this modpack. It blends the familiar Vanilla experience with over 250 mods, enhancing, expanding, and deepening the world without overshadowing Minecraft's unique charm. This is a work of passion, for those who, like us, wish to fall in love with Minecraft all over again.
What this pack is about

- Building – Master Craftsman: With "Handcrafted" and "Twigs", your creative potential is truly limitless. Construct awe-inspiring structures and intricate decorations, leaving your personal touch on the world of Minecraft. Improved Graphics – See Your Game in Another Light: Revel in the glory of Minecraft under a new light. With the inclusion of "Complementary Shader", "Complementary Reimagined", and "Reimagined Voxels", your adventures will be illuminated by the most dramatic and beautiful scenery ever seen in the game. Powered by the impressive Iris mod, in tandem with a host of performance-enhancing mods, your game's visuals will reach new heights.
Our pack includes these shaders designed to fit different aesthetic preferences and system capabilities:
- Complementary Shader: This shader balances beautiful visuals with incredible performance.
- Complementary Reimagined: A streamlined variant of the Complementary Shader, it delivers stunning visuals with improved performance.
- Reimagined Voxels: This resource-intensive shader brings breathtaking real-time ray tracing to your Minecraft world. It requires a powerful system but offers unmatched visuals.
These shaders are turned off by default to ensure optimal performance on all systems. If your system meets the recommended requirements and you wish to enhance your visual experience, you can easily enable shaders in the video settings. Simply look for the button directing you to the shaders options and choose the one that best suits your system and visual preference.

- RAM: 4GB of RAM allocated to Java
Recommended Minimum (for 25-30 fps with shaders):
- CPU: Intel i5 6th Gen or newer / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or newer
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti or newer / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT or newer
- RAM: 6GB of RAM allocated to Java

Recommended Mods
Although not included in this modpack due to licensing issues, the following mods provide excellent improvements to performance and gameplay. We highly recommend checking them out:
Epic Knights: Weapon, Armor and Shields[Fabric/Forge]: Enhance your combat experience with realistic weapons, armors, and shields. Epic Knights pairs superbly with "Better Combat" and "Combat Roll".
Better Fps - Render Distance[Fabric]: Improve your game performance by optimizing the rendering distance. The mod switches the default Minecraft rendering from a square radius to a configurable 3D circular radius, reducing the chunks rendered and boosting FPS.
Server Performance - Smooth Chunk Save[Forge/Fabric]: Prevent lagspikes and improve server performance by saving chunks continuously over time. Particularly beneficial for servers or single-player worlds running an integrated server.
Structure Essentials[Forge/Fabric]: Boost your server performance by speeding up structure locating and reducing lagspikes. Includes additional commands for structure and biome information, and crash prevention measures.
fix GPU memory leak[Forge/Fabric]: Fix bugs that leak resources within GPU memory. Particularly useful for addressing issues like GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY, GL_FRAMEBUFFER_INCOMPLETE_ATTACHMENT, and GL_INVALID_FRAMEBUFFER_OPERATION.

The Grand Fusion
General Changes:
- Merged together a huge number of resource packs into a single file for better compatibility and performance, based on Xali's Enhanced Vanilla.
Added Mods:
- Advancement Plaques - Replaces those boring advancement popups with something flashier.
- AdoraBuild: Structures - Adds new structures to the game.
- Almost Unified - Provides unification of resources for better compatibility with different mods.
- Continuity - Offers compatibility with resource packs that contains connected textures.
- Equipment Compare - Simplifies equipment comparison by displaying a tooltip for the gear you're already wearing.
- Fabric Sky Boxes - Permits resource packs to define custom skyboxes.
- Legendary Tooltips - Enhances tooltips for your rare items and adds additional tooltip configuration options.
- Puzzle - Provides a beautiful GUI for visual changes on the mudpack, based on Optifine.
- CIT Resewn - Adds support for item variation, similar to Optifine.
Updated Mods:
- Crafting+ - Fixes errors with crafting recipes and improves code.
- Farmer's Delight - Introduces minor fixes on basket blocks and death messages.
- Friends & Foes - Implements bug and crash fixes, along with copper golem behavior tweaks.

- Cloth Config - updated to 11.1.106 for new configuration options.
- Debugify - Updated to Debugify 1.20.1+2.0 with new fixes:
- MC-263865 - Fullscreen state isn't saved when F11 is pressed.
- MC-8187 - Two-by-two arrangements of jungle or spruce saplings cannot grow when there are adjacent blocks located north or west of the sapling formation.
- EMI - Updated with fixes:
- Fixed impolite comparisons crashing EMI.
- Fixed JEI stack favoriting.
- GhostZ - Updated with fixes:
- Crafting placeable lantern from unused lantern didn't work.
