🌲 Wild Survival 🌲

Forget the Ender Dragon. Wild Survival is a monster-free, nature-driven survival modpack where the real enemy is the wilderness itself. Explore overhauled forests, rivers, mountains and diverse biomes filled only with wild animals behaving naturally 🦌🐻.

🌦️ Seasons change, temperatures drop and rise, food rots, caves can collapse, and your character’s body parts, nutrition, hydration and stamina all matter. Every choice has weight. Every day is a struggle.

You won’t punch trees here — the progression is fully reworked, early-game is slow and gritty, and mastering the environment becomes your true objective. Build functional shelters, forage and hunt realistically, cook with depth, manage injuries, and adapt to a living world that doesn’t care if you survive.

🛶 Whether you’re crossing rivers, exploring revamped caves, managing complex farming, or just trying to make it through the winter… Wild Survival delivers an immersive, harsh and rewarding survival journey like no other.

This is the first official release of the modpack. There’s still plenty to improve, but at this stage it feels polished enough to publish as a proper release.

Changes from the previous version:

  • Improved realism-focused survival
  • Better overall performance
  • Enhanced world generation
  • More realistic gameplay features
  • Nether and End are now inaccessible
  • New ambient sounds and effects
  • Improved nutritional system
  • Tougher healing mechanics, including limb-specific healing
  • Updated visuals (icons and more)
  • Removed several outdated or unnecessary features

Future plans:

  • Custom main menu and loading screen
  • Better overall compatibility
  • Further realism improvements
  • A simpler, more intuitive way to edit and create recipes
  • Add threatening wild mobs and ambient attacks

This is the official Beta release of the modpack.

This version brings improvements to realism, QoL features, performance and exploration.

It also includes enhanced wildlife spawning, meaning animals now appear more frequently and across a wider range of biomes.

Future Plans:

Upgrade modded biomes to higher-quality terrain, improve early-game progression, and adjust or fix several recipes.
