The Ultimate High-Fidelity Vanilla+ Experience

⚠️ PRE-RELEASE NOTICE: This is the Alpha/Pre-release version of Project : VMC. This is my very first modpack! While I have manually patched conflicts and tuned performance, you may encounter minor bugs. Please report any issues so I can fix them in the next update.

📖 Overview

Project : VMC is a meticulously crafted modpack designed to modernize Minecraft 1.21.8 while preserving its core identity. It combines bleeding-edge performance optimization with stunning visual fidelity, creating a game that feels like a sequel to vanilla.

We focus on two things: Uncompromising Performance and Immersive Beauty.

1. ⚡ Uncompromising Performance

This is not just "another fabric pack." It features a Deeply Tuned Engine custom-built for MacOS/Apple Silicon but acts as a powerhouse on all systems.

  • Render Engine: Powered by Sodium + Iris for high-FPS rendering and shader support.
  • Logic Optimization: Lithium, FerriteCore, and ModernFix ensure the internal server runs tick-perfect.
  • Chunk Loading: C2ME (Concurrent Chunk Management Engine) provides rapid chunk generation.
  • Zero Conflict: All optimization mods (Entity Culling, More Culling, BadOptimizations) have been manually patched to ensure 0% redundancy.

Experience the world with no boundaries.

  • Distant Horizons: LOD (Level of Detail) rendering allows you to see terrain dozens of kilometers away with zero performance cost.
  • Tuned for Speed: Custom threading and blending settings ensure seamless LOD generation without stuttering.

  • Particle Overhaul: A hand-tuned blend of Particle Rain and Particular.
  • Atmosphere: Falling leaves in forests, fireflies in swamps, and realistic rain ripples.
  • Animation: Fresh Animations brings mobs to life with realistic movement (climbing, eating, falling).
  • Physics: Visuality adds physical particles to block hits and mob damage.
  • Audio: Sound Physics Remastered provides realistic reverb and sound attenuation through walls and caves.

The visual identity is defined by the Whimscape resource pack suite:
