Peak Vanilla Premium is the exact modpack I use on my daily Minecraft streams on TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch under CraftedByGewie, where I play in my Cozy Forever World and build everything live. The pack is designed to keep Minecraft feeling cozy.

📦 Peak Vanilla Premium by Gewie

Minecraft — but at its absolute peak.

Peak Vanilla Premium started because of something bigger than Minecraft itself.

Over the last year I've been chasing what I call my Zenith version — the best version of myself. Not perfection, but constantly trying to improve things, refine things, and push things closer to their peak.

That mindset started showing up everywhere:

How I train.

How I create content.

How I stream.

How I build.

And eventually... how I played Minecraft.

I kept finding myself asking:

"What would the peak version of vanilla Minecraft actually feel like?"

Not a version with 500 mods thrown into it.

Not a version that barely feels like Minecraft anymore.

Not something overloaded with progression systems and feature bloat.

I wanted something that still felt like Minecraft at its core, but where almost every part of the experience felt cleaner, smoother, more immersive, and more complete.

So I started building it.

I spent hundreds of hours:

• testing mods against each other • removing things that felt out of place • fixing visual conflicts • rebuilding settings • reorganizing resource packs • cleaning keybinds • tuning shaders • adjusting tiny details most people probably wouldn't even think about

And while streaming every day as CraftedByGewie, people kept asking the same thing:

"What shaders are you using?" "What mods are those?" "How does your Minecraft look like that?" "Can I get your settings?"

Eventually I stopped wanting to send random mod lists and decided to package the actual experience.

Not just the mods.

The experience.

Everything included here exists for a reason.

No giant progression systems.

No tech-mod overload.

No random feature bloat.

No "500 mods and good luck."

Just Minecraft at its peak.

Peak Vanilla Premium 6.0

The Living World Update

Minecraft — at its peak. Now more alive than ever.

Built, tested, and refined live every single day by CraftedByGewie — now over 400 consecutive days of daily TikTok streams.

Follow @CraftedByGewie on TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube to watch the exact pack I use every day being played, tested, and improved live.

Peak Vanilla Premium 6.0 is the next major step forward from 5.0, moving the entire pack from Minecraft 26.1.2 to Minecraft 26.2 while expanding wildlife, building, immersion, visuals, performance, and long-term survival.

The goal is still the same:

Keep Minecraft feeling like Minecraft — just make it smoother, deeper, more alive, and more complete.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🌎 What Changed From 5.0 → 6.0?

91 → 97 mods

12 added/new mod files

6 removed or replaced

76 updated or ported mods

3 new resource-pack files

43 total resource-pack files

47 active resource-pack entries

→ New Photon Perfected v3 shader preset

→ Major wildlife expansion

→ Better building interactions

→ Improved survival quality of life

→ Cleaner environmental audio

→ Updated creator tools

→ Major Minecraft 26.2 compatibility pass

This is The Living World Update.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🐻 A More Living World

The biggest change from 5.0 is the addition of Alex's Mobs.

Wildlife has been massively expanded across forests, oceans, rivers, deserts, mountains, jungles, snowy regions, swamps, and more.

Expect animals such as:

→ Bears → Bison → Elephants → Whales → Orcas → Crocodiles → Gorillas → Moose → Eagles → Raccoons → Kangaroos → Snow leopards → Sharks → Hummingbirds → Toucans → And much more

A custom Alex's Mobs World Seeder integration is also included to help bring the expanded wildlife system into the Peak Vanilla Premium experience.

Combined with ducks, geese, bees, critters, tumbleweeds, seasons, fireflies, weather, and ambience, the world should feel significantly more alive than it did in 5.0.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🛠 Better Building & World Interaction

IPLA Added

6.0 introduces IPLA, expanding how items can be placed and displayed inside builds.

It joins:

→ Cycle Paintings → Reach Behind → Reconnectible Chains → Armor Poser → Diagonal Fences & Walls → Improved Sign Editing → Visual Workbench → KleeSlabs → Universal Bone Meal → Sit

More freedom for detailed builds without dumping hundreds of unnecessary decorative blocks into the game.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🌲 Survival Improvements

FallingTree

Added to make wood gathering faster and less repetitive in long-term survival worlds.

Villager Names

Villagers can now receive names, helping towns and settlements feel more like actual communities instead of collections of identical NPCs.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🎨 Resource Pack Updates

Three new resource-pack files were added:

Better Map Items

Better Boss Bars

Old Letters — Paper & Book Items

Also updated:

→ Better Clock Resource Pack

→ Resource-pack ordering

→ Active visual preset

The resource-pack system now contains 43 files with 47 active entries working together as one visual stack.

The goal remains the same:

Dozens of small visual upgrades working together without replacing Minecraft's identity.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🌅 Photon Perfected v3

5.0 used:

5.0V Perfect Photon by Gewie

6.0 now defaults to:

Photon Perfected v3

The shader preset has been retuned across:

→ Lighting → Exposure → Shadows → Fog → Bloom → Depth of field → Color grading → Atmospheric effects → Performance

6.0 also introduces more environment-specific atmosphere for rain, jungles, swamps, taigas, snowy regions, arid biomes, mornings, and evenings.

TAAU is now enabled, while several expensive effects were reduced or rebalanced for better performance.

The result is a more natural, atmospheric, and cinematic Minecraft without wasting performance where the visual difference isn't worth it.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🚀 Performance Retuned

The performance stack has been updated again for Minecraft 26.2.

Major upgrades include:

→ Sodium 0.8.12 → 0.9.1

→ Iris 1.10.9 → 1.11.2

→ Voxy 0.2.16 Beta → 0.2.18 Beta

→ EntityCulling updated

→ Better Block Entities updated

→ Physics Mod updated

→ Flashback updated

Default settings were also retuned:

→ Render Distance: 11 → 10

→ Simulation Distance: 6 → 5

→ Entity Distance: 100% → 75%

→ FPS Cap: 260 → 120

→ VSync enabled

→ Exclusive fullscreen enabled

→ Shader depth-of-field samples heavily reduced

The goal isn't chasing the biggest FPS counter possible.

It's delivering smoother and more consistent gameplay while running a heavily upgraded Minecraft experience.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🎧 Audio Stack Refined

Removed

→ Sound Physics Perfected

Retained & Updated

→ Sound Physics Remastered → AmbientSounds → Presence Footsteps → Sound Controller → Empty Caves Ambience → The Immersive Music Mod → Gentler Weather Sounds → More Cave Sounds

Sound Physics Remastered remains the main environmental acoustic system while the rest of the audio stack continues creating deeper caves, weather, footsteps, structures, and environmental ambience.

Less unnecessary overlap.

Same deep atmosphere.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

⌨ Controls & Interface Refined

New and adjusted defaults include:

→ IPLA Place Item — I

→ IPLA Rotate Item — Left Alt

→ Simple HUD Toggle — `

→ Iris Reload — R

→ Iris Shader Menu — Page Down

→ Advanced item tooltips enabled

→ Vignette disabled

→ Several unused or conflicting keybinds removed

The goal remains:

Install → Launch → Play.

No spending twenty minutes fixing controls before Minecraft feels right.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🆕 Major Additions From 5.0

🌎 World & Immersion

→ Alex's Mobs

→ Alex's Mobs World Seeder

→ Villager Names

🛠 Building & Interaction

→ IPLA

🌲 Survival

→ FallingTree

📦 Resource Pack Management

→ Resource Pack Options

🔧 Supporting Libraries

→ Architectury

→ Citadel

→ LibJF

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🔄 Removed or Replaced From 5.0

→ SkinShuffle

→ Sound Physics Perfected

→ Previous Empty Caves Ambience build replaced by the Minecraft 26.2 compatibility build

→ YDM's Weapon Master moved to its Minecraft 26.2 build

Several other file-level changes are simply Minecraft 26.1.2 versions being replaced by their new Minecraft 26.2 builds rather than actual feature removals.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🔄 76 Mods Updated or Ported

Most of the active pack moved forward for Minecraft 26.2.

Major updates include:

→ Sodium → Iris → Voxy → EntityCulling → Better Block Entities → Flashback → Physics Mod Pro → Xaero's Minimap → Xaero's World Map → Just Enough Items → Armor Poser → Mod Menu → Shulker Box Tooltip → Sound Controller → Presence Footsteps → Puddles & Floods → Continuity → Paper Doll → 3D Skin Layers → UntitledDuck → Scholar → And dozens more

This is not just a Minecraft version change.

Most of the modpack moved with it.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

⚡ Major Core Upgrades

Some of the biggest version jumps include:

→ Sodium: 0.8.12 → 0.9.1

→ Iris: 1.10.9 → 1.11.2

→ Voxy: 0.2.16 Beta → 0.2.18 Beta

→ EntityCulling: 1.10.2 → 1.10.5

→ Better Block Entities: 1.3.4 → 1.3.7

→ Flashback: 0.40.0 → 0.41.1

→ Physics Mod: 3.1.41 → 3.1.46

→ Xaero's Minimap: 26.1.0 → 26.4.2

→ Xaero's World Map: 1.41.0 → 1.44.2

→ JEI: 29.6.2.31 → 30.13.0.86

→ Armor Poser: 14.1.0 → 15.0.0

→ Mod Menu: 18.0.0 Beta → 20.0.1

→ Shulker Box Tooltip: 5.2.18 → 5.4.0

→ Sound Controller: 1.2.5 → 1.4.0

→ UntitledDuck: 1.5.6 → 1.6.0

→ Scholar: 1.1.16 → 1.2.2

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🧩 Configuration Overhaul

Behind the visible changes, 6.0 also received another major configuration pass.

Compared with 5.0:

114 configuration files added

11 configuration files removed

35 configuration files changed

A large portion of the new configuration work comes from the custom Alex's Mobs setup, including individual spawn tuning for dozens of creatures.

Other configurations were added or adjusted for:

→ Wildlife spawning → FallingTree → IPLA → Villager Names → Resource Pack Options → JEI → Physics Mod → Presence Footsteps → Sound Physics Remastered → Sound Controller → Paper Doll → Scholar → EntityCulling → Xaero's Minimap → Xaero's World Map → Rendering and performance behavior

Most players will never need to touch any of it.

That's the point.

The pack should already feel right when you launch it.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

📦 Datapack Update

The included PK Racks datapack has been updated:

PK Racks 3.2.2 → 3.2.3

Updated for Minecraft 26.2.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🎬 Creator Tools Updated

Peak Vanilla Premium remains built around the same environment I actually use for streaming, recording, building, screenshots, and cinematic Minecraft content.

Updated creator tools include:

→ Flashback → WI Freecam → Armor Poser → FirstPerson → Not Enough Animations → Paper Doll → 3D Skin Layers → Zoomify → Xaero's Maps

The pack isn't just configured in a test world.

It's used in real long-term Minecraft gameplay every single day.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

⚠ Updating From 5.0 → 6.0

Peak Vanilla Premium 6.0 moves from Minecraft 26.1.2 to Minecraft 26.2 and changes several major systems.

A fresh profile is strongly recommended.

  1. Back up every important world.
  2. Keep your existing 5.0 profile installed temporarily.
  3. Install Peak Vanilla Premium 6.0 as a new profile.
  4. Launch 6.0 once before transferring worlds.
  5. Move a copy of your world into 6.0 first.
  6. Confirm the world loads correctly.
  7. Check wildlife, shaders, resource packs, controls, sound, and major builds.
  8. Keep your untouched original backup until you're confident everything works.

Always back up a long-term world before upgrading.

Do not gamble hundreds or thousands of hours of progress because you wanted to save two minutes making a backup.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🌎 Minecraft — At Its Peak

Compared with 5.0, Peak Vanilla Premium 6.0 is:

→ More alive

→ More immersive

→ Better for builders

→ Better for long-term survival

→ Cleaner visually

→ Deeper acoustically

→ Better optimized

→ Better for creators

→ Fully updated for Minecraft 26.2

Peak Vanilla Premium isn't trying to become the biggest modpack.

It's trying to become the best version of Minecraft it can be without losing Minecraft itself.

No giant tech-mod overload.

No random progression bloat.

No "500 mods and good luck."

Just a cleaner, smoother, cozier, more cinematic, and more alive version of Minecraft.

The entire experience has been migrated from Minecraft 1.21.11 to Minecraft 26.1.2, with nearly every major part of the pack reviewed, updated, replaced, or rebuilt.

The goal was simple:

Make Peak Vanilla Premium run smoother.

Make it feel more complete.

⚠ Updating From Peak Vanilla Premium 3.0 Peak Vanilla Premium 4.0 moves the pack from Minecraft 1.21.11 to Minecraft 26.1.2.

Because this is such a large migration, installing 4.0 as a fresh modpack profile is strongly recommended.

Do not install 4.0 directly over your existing 3.0 profile.

Recommended Update Process Back up every important world.

Keep your previous 3.0 profile installed temporarily.

Install Peak Vanilla Premium 4.0 as a completely new profile.

Launch 4.0 once before transferring any worlds.

Transfer a copied version of your world first.

Confirm that the world, resource packs, shaders, controls, and inventory all work correctly.

Keep the original world backup untouched.

Existing worlds may work, but compatibility cannot be guaranteed across a major Minecraft and modpack migration.

Back up your world before moving it.

Do not gamble months or years of progress because you wanted to save two minutes.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🧪 Compatibility Notes Peak Vanilla Premium 4.0 uses several current compatibility builds, including beta versions of:

→ Voxy

→ Continuity

→ Mod Menu

→ Simple HUD Enhanced

These versions were selected specifically for Minecraft 26.1.2 compatibility.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

📦 Peak Vanilla Premium by Gewie

Minecraft — but at its absolute peak.

Peak Vanilla Premium started because of something bigger than Minecraft itself.

Over the last year I've been chasing what I call my Zenith version — the highest version of myself on stream and off stream.

For v3.0, I went through and curated almost every part of the experience because I wanted this to feel like the version of Minecraft I always wished existed.

I spent hundreds of hours testing mods against each other, removing things that felt out of place, fixing visual conflicts, rebuilding settings, reorganizing resource packs, cleaning keybinds, tweaking shaders, and adjusting small details most people probably wouldn't even think about.

A lot changed in this update.

Not just mods.

The actual experience changed.

This is Peak Vanilla Premium 3.0

⚠ WORLD RECOMMENDATION

This is a modpack. Mod creators can stop supporting their mods at all times, and if you wish to upgrade to the latest version with your current save, this pack can break your world. This rocks and fast item frames are the two mods I would recommend disabling.

What's different?

🎨 Visuals rebuilt → Better environmental detail, cleaner connected textures, improved model consistency, better atmosphere, smoother visual harmony, and fewer weird visual conflicts

⌨ Keybinds now come working out of the box → Camera controls, utilities, and pack features are already set up when you install

📦 Resource packs were completely reorganized → Packs are already ordered correctly with my preset included in the RP menu. Several new packs have been added read below for more info.

⚙ VanillaTweaks support is built directly into the resource pack menu → Easier customization without having to break the pack trying to move things around

🎥 Shaders come configured immediately → No opening 15 menus trying to figure out why the game looks weird

🧰 Settings are already configured → HUD setup, gameplay settings, visual settings, controls, and preferences are already included

🌎 Environmental immersion got expanded heavily → Seasons, weather improvements, cave ambience, environmental detail, creatures, particles, terrain improvements, and more life throughout the world

🎬 Creator tools got expanded → Better camera movement, Flashback support, cleaner visuals, and easier cinematic shots

🚀 Performance was refined → Better long-session stability, reduced stutters, smoother movement, smoother camera motion, and cleaner exploration

The goal wasn't:

"How many mods can I fit into this?" ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Install → Launch → Play

No spending an hour fixing settings.

No trying to figure out resource pack order.

Just Minecraft — at its peak.
