Simplicity + QOL features

This modpack aims to provide ease of access to everyone hoping to improve fps but also have some QOL features. The modpack incorporates the best optimization mods available to achieve max performance. And since most players don't just use optimization mods, we added QOL mods. For example, there is a mod that display the time you have potions for, what durability your armor is on, and a screen shoting mod that make sharing screen shots easier. By including both QOL mods AND optimization mods, the Lightning Client is an all in one modpack that offers everything a player could need to enjoy Minecraft.

Adding your own mods

You can add your own mods and build on this modpack. But be sure to be careful of the compatibility issues. I won't be able to help with such issues.

Sodium vs. Vulkan

There are now 2 Modes for this Modpack- Sodium and Vulkan. I would use the Sodium + Nvdium modpacks if you're on NVDIA GPUs

Both are good but Vulkan has compatibility issues with a lot of mods. I would suggest trying both of the modpacks out because you could get a lot more frames on Vulkan.

Alpha Version 0.1 for 1.21.4

Updated Lightning CLient to 1.21.4
This is currently in Alpha testing because of NVDIUM
- The official owner of NVDIUM hasn't made NVDIUM compatible with Sodium versions 6.0+ So I've downloaded a public fork of NVDIUM that IS compatible with Sodium 6.0+
- This fork of NVDIUM isn't thoroughly tested so it may have some mod imcompatibilities
- Join my discord for more questions
- Single Player glitches out when making world, so maybe disable NVDIUM if you're playing single player

Release 1.2 for 1.21

Updated all mods
- Mods that need Sodium 6.0+ have not been updated
Modpack still uses Sodium 5.11 to stay compatible with NVDIUM
Most likely the final modpack buid for 1.21
- Can't get any better than this
If you're on Intel or AMD GPUs, I'd recommend disabling NVDIUM and updating Sodium to the latest version

Changed the Modpack to a Vulkan based Modpack (no longer contains Sodium
Still a relatively new mod. Devs are still working on Vulkan
Compatibility Issues exist but with this modpack, you should have ALL the essentials needed to enjoy Minecraft
Minimap MOD is not compatible with Vulkan yet
