Cobblemon Mythical Dungeon Modpack

Cobblemon Mythical Dungeon Titlecard

Step into the world of Cobblemon Mythical Dungeon, a server where the Mystery Dungeon series is reimagined inside Minecraft!

This modpack contains all the required mods for players joining the Cobblemon Mythical Dungeon Server, with a mix of performance and content while integrating our custom features like quests, NPCs and our own Personality Quiz.

Here's a rundown of the additions our Modpack brings:

🗺️ Exploration The modpack includes mods that incentivize exploration by adding new biomes and new items while also helping with better inventory management and balancing the loot players can find in multiplayer. You will find mods like:

🪪 Credits

All the portraits and sprites used in the Cobblemon Mythical Dungeon, cmdclient or any other form of CMD content are taken from the PMD Sprite Repository.

All the credits to the artists can be found here

ATTENTION: Singleplayer support for the Mystery Dungeon features is not implemented yet, and all the features are currently exclusive to the official Cobblemon Mythical Dungeon Server. We will explore singleplayer compatibility in the future, but for now all custom content works only within the CMD environment.

Morph Survival Abilities

When Morphed players will get a Custom Status Effect that will provide specific abilities depending on their Primary Type.

The Secondary Type is currently ignored, and for balancing Flying is always considered Primary.

Normal

  • Get a slight increase in Health, Movement Speed, Attack Speed, Attack Damage and Breaking Block Speed.

Grass

  • Under the sky your Food Bar gets replenished
  • Periodically increase a nearby crop's growth

Fire

  • Permanent Fire Resistance
  • Keep a nearby Furnace, with Items to process, fueled

Water

  • Permanent Dolphin Grace
  • Permanent Water Breathing

Flying

  • Increased Air Speed and Air Mobility
  • Slow Falling when NOT crouching

Fighting

  • Increased Attack Damage
  • Increased Block Breaking Speed when empty-handed

Poison

  • Immunity to Negative Effects
  • Applies Poison on hit

Bug

  • Wall Crawling effect
  • Increased Step Height

Electric

  • Boosts Speed if the weather is clear/rain/thunderstorm
  • Immunity to Slowness

Ground

  • Increased Block Breaking Speed when using a Shovel
  • Immunity to Fall Damage

Rock

  • Increased Block Breaking Speed when using a Pickaxe
  • Immunity to Knockback

Ice

  • Frost Walker effect when NOT crouching
  • Silk Touch when breaking any type of Ice Blocks

Steel

  • Permanent Resistance
  • Projectile Immunity

Psychic

  • Levitation effect while crouching
  • Increased Reach

Ghost

  • Invisibility while crouching
  • Applies Withering on Hit

Dark

  • Permanent Night Vision
  • Darkness immunity

Dragon

  • Increased Health
  • Increases Attack Speed after being hit

Fairy

  • If a Player is nearby, regenerates health to itself and nearby allies
  • Increased Arrow Damage

Partner Pokémon Final Forms

We added the Partner version for all Partner Pokémon you can get from the Personality Quiz. The Final form evolution is already unlocked at level 30, after evolving in the Base form with Final form stats, the implementation we had until now.

After evolving into their Partner Final form, your Pokémon will still be able to go back to their Base form with Final stats, making it an Evolution loop that is on pretty much only cosmetic.

Other Additions & Changes

  • Doing /morph doesn't override Figura models anymore, matching Figura Avatar with hitbox is still up to the player for now
  • Added a simple /leaderboard command that will be used for upcoming events and other additions
  • Added a music theme functionality for NPCs, currently working only for upcoming event but more will be added mid updates
  • Some live bugfixes regarding morph and a couple more coming mid update

Modpack Update

  • All mods except Terralith updated to the latest version
