🌍 Welcome to Crusted Gears
Crusted Gears is a premium 1.21.1 NeoForge modpack where breathtaking world generation meets heavy industrial engineering.
This project bridges the gap between raw nature and high-tech factories. You will progress through three distinct eras of automation, starting with mechanical kinetic energy in Create, moving into chemical processing and nuclear power with Mekanism, and dominating the endgame using sci-fi particle lasers from Oritech.
To fuel your industry, you must venture out into a world reshaped by Tectonic and Biomes O' Plenty, featuring massive mountain ranges and dangerous, fully overhauled dungeons from YUNG's Suite. The survival experience is enhanced with dimensional cooking via Farmer's Delight and portable storage from Sophisticated Backpacks.
Engineered for a smooth plug-and-play experience, Crusted Gears comes fully optimized for high FPS, pre-packaged with Complementary Shaders, integrated with Essential for instant multiplayer hosting, and synced with a custom Discord Rich Presence.

The core foundation of the modpack is officially live. This initial release establishes the complete sandbox experience, blending massive terrain generation from Tectonic and Biomes O' Plenty with epic underground looting through YUNG's fully overhauled dungeons. On the industrial side, you can now build massive automation networks spanning three distinct eras of technology using Create, Mekanism, and Oritech. The survival loop is enhanced with portable storage from Sophisticated Backpacks and multi-dimensional cooking via Farmer's Delight. Finally, the entire pack comes fully optimized for high frame rates, pre-packaged with Complementary Shaders, integrated with the Essential mod for instant multiplayer hosting, and synced with our official custom Discord Rich Presence.
Please note that this is a sandbox-only release; the custom FTB Quests book is currently under development and will arrive in version 1.1.0!
