Welcome to BongoWongo! This modpack is a vanilla friendly bingo game with some QoL mods that will let you play with your friends at any time. For use, you just need to download this modpack, drop the contents of server file in your server and hit play. Our configs will install everything you need to start a game. You can also play in single player or open a LAN party!

How to start a game.

Starting a game is as easy as using the Bingo Panel to select the amount of teams and then use shuffle to assign a team to each player. Then you need to hit Start in th Bingo Panel.

You can customize your game with all of the configs available, see spoiler bellow to learn each one of them!

Customizing your games!

This is super easy thanks to Bingo Panel. Just make sure you are OP in your server in order to use it! Click buttons to set the game to your taste! Most of them are self explanatory, but if you need some help, here's a description for each button:

WARNING: there's a lot of text here, read just configs you are interested on, there's no need to learn every single one (in fact you dont need to know any of this to play!). Also in-game buttons show a little text when hovering over them :)

Features: customize Gamemode, KeepInventory, Starter Kits and more!

Lockout: when a player has completed a task, it locks the item so no other team can fullfill that task.

Inventory: good old KeepInventory so you dont loose your items on death. Dont worry, there's a built in KeepInventory that lets you save your inventory by right clicking a bed. If you die, you will respawn in your bed with any items that you had at the moment of setting your spawn point. Also works with Anchors!

Hidden Items: No one knows what is in the Bingo Card! Just start playing and obtaining as much items as you can, this will put to the test your knowledge about Minecraft! Be careful, remember there are modded items (can be desabled, see faltasección).

Consume Items: once you obtain a bingo item, the game will remove it from your inventory. This makes sure you have a nice and clean inventory (most of the times hehe).

Preview Card: shows or hids Bingo Card.

Elytra: gives you an Elytra and some Rockets! Perfect for quick and casual games.

Night Vision: do I need to say any more? This gives you permanent Night Vision!

Allow PvP: enables or disables PvP.

Unlock Recipes: a simple QoL that lets you craft anything from the start, no more recipe gate keeping!

Spawn Kit

Player Items: our modpack comes with a set starter kit that you can enable using Player Items button. You can also create your own kit with the Edit button!

Team Chest: Do you want to give a starter kit for each team instead of each player? This is your button. Just as the previous option, click Team Chest or Edit to customize your loot!

Spawn Dimension

This section lets you decide in which dimension you want to start your game. A challenging twist!

Team Distance

Sets the minimum distance between teams. Be careful, higher numbers means more world to load, you will need more RAM the more chunks you set this config!

Goals: everything about what you need to win a game

Goal: you can choose between lines and items and set a number to aim to.

Time Limit: do you want some extra pressure? Set a max time, the game will automatically end once the time runs out! You can also disable this feature so you can have all the time you want.

Replace Goals: once an item or line is completed, it gets automatically replaced for another one until the set goal is completed, or the time runs out. All completed tasks are scored at the end of the game.

Infinite: just as the name suggest, this config lets you keep playing by replacing any completed task for another one.

# of cards: Game will keep going until a set number of Cards have been completed (or the timer runs out).

End Game: do you want to end the game when first team wins? maybe all teams need to fullfill a Bingo Card for the game to end. You can also set an infinite game by using Never option, or set a number of teams that need to win in order to stop the game.

On stalemate: what should happen when there's a Stalemate? Finish the game, re-roll card and keep going or just finish the game?

Score info: this section lets you control what displays in the right scoreboard info panel. This is a global config, meaning everyone will see this options, but you can configure your own using Yet Another Bingo book in your inventory!

JourneyMap!

It is important for you to delete your JourneyMap folder inside your instance periodically. If you dont, you will start to see old map that do not correspond with your actual game. And also: keep track of your waypoints and delete them once you dont need them!

QoL Changes

• WorldGen: you will find smaller biomes and less oceans and aquifers.
• There's a KeepInventory feature (if you dont have Inventory config enabled) that lets you 'save' your inventory when you set a new respawnpoint. If you die, you will spawn in your respawnpoint with all the items you had at the moment you saved your inventory.
• Sleeping Bags. You can use sleeping bags to sleep without changing your respawn point, perfect combination with our Bed-KeepInventory.
• Backpacks! Yes, we have backpacks, you can craft them to have a better inventory management. Be careful, more items also means more searching for useful items!
• We have both Nature's Aura and Explorer's Compass in game. You can use them to search biomes and structures.

Some recommendations.

We have spend some time configurating GUI and KeyBinds features so they do not overlap. However, you can check the following features so they are just as you want!

• Combat Roll
• JourneyMap (keybinds, size and position).
• Bingo card (keybind, size and position).
• Bingo client side features: use your Yet Another Bingo Book in game or press Settings button in your Card Preview GUI (default jey: Y).
• Zoom! Yes, zoom is in this modpack.
• Ping so you can display your position to other team mates.
• Expanded Scoreboard KeyBind.
• Sophisticated Backpacks KeyBind.
• TrashSlot KeyBind.
• VoiceChat.
