  • Default configs. Close to a hundred hours have been spent reading every mod's config, learning what each option does, and tuning them so every part of the game is as smooth as possible — hundreds of QoL features, big and small, already set up for you. On top of that, there are 6 resolution versions of the configs: same base settings, but with every HUD overlay individually positioned so nothing overlaps or sits awkwardly, no matter your monitor.
  • In-game Config Manager. Ever lost your configs? Never again. The pack backs them up on every update and every three days, so if they're ever wiped you can restore them in one click.

Performance Profiles

  • Performance — lowest visuals, maximum FPS for low-end hardware
  • Balanced — close to default, recommended for most players
  • Quality — high render distance and maxed visuals for strong PCs
  • Shaders (Balanced / Quality) — the above with shaders enabled (note: shaders may break some in-world overlays)

Resolution Presets

UI overlays shift with resolution and GUI scale — what looks clean at 1080p can overlap at 1440p. Six presets ship with every HUD overlay positioned for that exact setup, and the right one is applied automatically:

Quality-of-Life Mods

SkyHanni — all-round QoL

Farming crop trackers with money-per-hour, Diana/Mythological Ritual helpers, Slayer and damage helpers, mineshaft detection with party chat, plus customizable HUDs, a cleaner scoreboard, and chat improvements.

Skyblocker — all-round QoL

Dungeon puzzle solvers, secret waypoints, and a full dungeon HUD; mining/foraging/commission waypoints; customizable health, mana, defense, and XP bars; Bazaar/AH prices in tooltips; built-in wiki lookup, profile viewer, and event timers.

Odin — dungeons & Kuudra

Endgame PvE utility: puzzle solvers for most Floor 7 terminals and dungeon puzzles, Wither Dragon tracking, Melody helpers, full run stats, and Kuudra pearl waypoints and supply tracking. Everything is optional and configurable.

ScamScreener — safety

Scans chat in real time for scam patterns (phishing links, fake verification, suspicious invites) with optional local AI scoring — nothing leaves your machine. Warns during trades and invites, with manual blacklisting.

Installation

You'll need a valid Minecraft Java account and the free Modrinth App.

  1. Install the Modrinth App — download it, run the installer, and let it open.
  2. Log in — click Playing as (top-right) → Log in, and sign in with your Microsoft account.
  3. Install the pack — go to Discover content → Modpacks, search SkyBlock Enhanced, and click Install.
  4. Allocate RAM — open the instance's gear icon → Java and Memory, enable Custom Memory Allocation, and set it using the table below.

Check your RAM: Ctrl + Shift + Esc → Performance → Memory.

Q: What is SkyBlock Enhanced?
A: A pre-configured Hypixel SkyBlock modpack for Minecraft 26.1+ on Fabric, with 60+ optimized mods, a first-launch wizard, six resolution presets, and an in-game config manager — ready to go with no manual setup.

Q: Can I use it on Hypixel?
A: Yes. All included mods are allowed on Hypixel, are client-side, and don't automate gameplay. Always check Hypixel's rules before adding your own mods.

Q: Do I have to configure anything manually?
A: No — install through the Modrinth App, launch, follow the wizard, and play.

Q: The game won't start or crashes.
A: Allocate more RAM, add -Xss4M if you see "Resource Reload Failed", and make sure you're on a compatible, up-to-date Java runtime (the Modrinth App handles this automatically). Still stuck? Join the Discord.

Q: How do I update?
A: Click Update pack in the Modrinth App and pick the latest version.

Q: Do shaders work?
A: Yes — Iris with Complementary Unbound and MakeUp Ultra Fast are included. Some overlays may not display correctly with shaders on.

New update with new changes, wow! This time around the big change is the addition of Voxy and the removal of Bobby. For the past few months there have been quite a few crashes related to a corrupt Bobby cache and just general issues with cache chunks showing up in the wrong islands. With the change to Voxy this should now be fixed, and you are also able to see even further! (You will now be able to see all islands from the hub after you load in the chunks one time first.) The downside may be a small hit to your FPS, but it should be minor, so I hope you're able to run the modpack with this mod. If you run into issues, please let me know.

I also recommend running /packcore performance-profile maxfps|balanced|quality|shaders_balanced|shaders_quality to apply new optimized video configs for use with Voxy.

🛠 Update 5.1.0

Version 5.1 is now out of beta and ready for use. Below is a complete overview of the changes between versions 5.0.15 and 5.1.

Note during the beta, 5.1 included OneConfig. After receiving feedback, I decided to remove it from the modpack. While it worked well for many users, others experienced compatibility issues and performance regressions, making it a poor fit overall.

OneConfig's unified config search and HUD editor were nice additions, but in practice they didn't outweigh the downsides. Since OneConfig only supports a limited number of mods, I often found it just as fast to search each mod's settings individually, starting with the larger ones. The HUD editor also wasn't perfect and could be difficult to work with, so using each mod's built-in editor was usually the better experience.

Taking all of this into account, I didn't feel the added complexity and potential performance regressions were worth the benefits, so I decided to remove it from the default modpack.

With both 5.0 and 5.1, my main focus has been improving performance and stability. That will continue with the upcoming 5.2 update, and I hope you understand and agree with the decision.

If you didn't experience any issues and would like to continue using OneConfig, you can easily add it back yourself. To learn how, type !add-mod in any Discord channel and the bot will reply with a tutorial.

Optimized Block Entities

Replaces Better Block Entities with improved performance.

Enhanced Sound Control

Replaces Sound Controller. Your existing Sound Controller configuration will automatically be migrated when you update.

Enhanced Sound Control also includes several new features:

  • Press N (or run /soundcontrol) after hearing a sound to open a list of recently played sounds. You can edit them without needing to know their internal names.
  • Configure sound volumes separately for each SkyBlock island. For example, you can mute block breaking sounds only in the Garden while keeping them unchanged everywhere else.

Replaces Particle Core and provides better performance.
