This modpacks aims into recreate TU9 but with a twist, what if it released in the 2000s? This modpacks changes the User Interface, Creative Listing, Crafting Listing, Sounds, and everything else that makes it like TU9 from Legacy Console Edition.

The Installation guide is on the Lasting Legacy Docs, but the recommended ways to install 2000s Edition is through Prism Launcher, ATLauncher, and Modrinth.



TU9 Accuracy

It aims to recreate Title Update 9 with it's User Interface, items, blocks, terrain, and mob spawning. There's some that can't really be recreated such as the Inventory Screen, and some are altered such as the Title Screen.

Open Source

2000s Edition is mostly used of open-source mods and resource packs. It's avaiable on Nostalgica Forgejo, which gives you the ability to see the code and contribute to the modpack. It's also avaiable as a packwiz project.

  • Added Legacy Potion Colors for the pre-1.19.4 potion colors
  • Fixed Raw Beef texture not being the old one
  • Updated configs
  • Fixed Modern Xbox title to be on the Xbox 360 control type instead of the Xbox One control type.
  • Changed raw and cooked chicken texture to be the one from TU9
  • The poppy texture is now the rose one.
  • Red Dye and Yellow Dye has been renamed to "Rose Red" and "Dandelion Yellow".

  • The bed tip is now the one from TU9.
  • Hotbar selection texture is now more accurate.
  • The Spruce and Birch wood tops are now the oak top.
  • The Cooked Porkchop texture is now more accurate to TU9.
  • The Cocoa Beans texture is now reverted to the default programmer art one.
  • Carved Pumpkin is now renamed to "Pumpkin".
  • The Oak decoration blocks that had oak are now changed to the ones from TU9.

  • Replaced Paxi with Simple Resource Loader
  • Modpack Resources is now required because of Simple Resource Loader
  • New You Shall Not Spawn Config and Creative Listing json, thanks to angrybirds0706 (Forgot to mention it in the beta_4 changelog)
  • Xbox 360 Tooltips are now the ones from Rekindled Legacy since it wasn't changed till TU53.
  • The Older blocky titles have been updated.
  • Some of the items look more like TU9 from Rekindled Legacy.
  • Changed Moderner Beta config, the default world preset is now Beta Xbox Legacy

  • No More Pillager Outposts

  • TU9 Recipes datapack, the recipes are more accurate to TU9.

Changes

  • Music Disc Names are more accurate to TU9 such as "where are we now" instead of "wait".
  • Xbox Edition title is now for the Xbox Controller S control type instead of the Xbox One.
  • SyncChunkWrites is now false for people that are playing on Linux and macOS.
  • Wait music disc texture is changed.

Removed

  • Very Many Players, that was causing the chunk rendering issues.
