Bray's World: A Vanilla+ Experience

Some additional bug fixes missed in 1.3.7

• Grass Blocks were broken in some versions of minecraft due to model rotations not supported by older versions of the game
• Inner and Outer wood stairs were textured incorrectly in versions of Minecraft before 1.21.5 due to a change Mojang made.

• Added support for Respackopts mod to toggle features on/off
• Custom Jukebox model that shows when there is a disk in the jukebox
• Modified Grass Texture and variants
• Added connected textures support for Copper Blocks
• Added connected textures support for Wool Blocks
• Bug fixes for models/textures that broke in older versions of Minecraft
• Fixed bug with stone and variant stone blocks (stairs, slabs, etc) where the wrong texture was being used causing the texture to be darker in game than intended
• Adjusted ore textures to cater to stone texture changes
• Updated chicken model and texture variants for warm, temperate and cold chickens
• Added texture variations for Brick Blocks
• Added functionality for custom barrel textures that are accessible by renaming barrels before placing (Use the mod "Know My Name!" to keep container names from reverting upon reloading of the world)

• Alternate texture for Glowberries when renamed to "Cherries"
• Alternate textures for nametags when named "giraffe" and "jeb_"

Updated all instances of double chests until animation can be fixed after an update to EMF, I tried to make it so using older versions of EMF would still work correctly but this may not function as I want

BUG FIXES!

• removed player model causing issues with armor
• removed FA Extensions chest opening animation for 1.21.6 as it is currently bugged

Updated to 1.21.6!

• Adjusted all Bottle/Potion textures and added unique textures for each level of Bad Omen from Ominious Bottles

• GUI changes including updating the hunger bar icons from meat to carrots. Added files to make this change compatible with Appleskin

• Changed Wanderer painting to "Bold & Brash" painting from Spongebob. As a bonus, if you use Vanilla Tweaks painting sprite pack, the icon for Wanderer will be updated accordingly!

• Gave armor stands a head so they better resemble players and have a little more personality :)

• Tweaks to some UIs including Inventory, Chest, Anvil and Smithing table GUIs to name a few

• Added high rarity goat texture variaton with dark fur and ivory horns

• Created 3D model for mace in hand and gave custom effect to maces with Windburst on them

• Updated coal texture to match other raw ore textures

• Added custom texture and model for furnace minecarts

• Tweaked Decorated Pot custom model

• Added a little bit of depth to the shield model

• Made arrows slightly 3D

• Fixed bug with Hanging Sign custom model being misaligned

• Fixed bug with a couple blocks not rendering properly in older versions of Minecraft (Thank you @andiluxe for your help there)

• all flowers in hands are now bundled like potted flowers

• pot held in hand is 3D

• Removed blinking animation from Firefly bush texture (not the particles)

• changes to wildflowers, reverting them back to more consistently yellow and white but with subtle hue variation

• Adjusted grass block variations including an error with one of the clover textures, removing the variations with "small grass" type details and adding an overhang to the sides of grass

• variated ores :D

• leaf litter and Vine custom hand model

• Vines are now 2.5D (gave extra depth and detail)

• lots of changes to glow lichen including a unique model for lichen on the underside of blocks

• some tweaks to bamboo to make them more interesting and varied in shape

• Removed berries from bush variants

• Tweaks to torch model

• Tweaks to UI elements to clean them up and generally bring them in line with the rest of the UI changes in Bray's World

• Added a new font to Bray's World that is similar to the vanilla font but with some minor changes (curious to get feedback on this)

• Goats have randomized goat horn shapes

• Wool blocks now connect to eachother in a sort of stitching pattern (With Continuity)

• flowering azalea leaves will connect to other nearby leaves and give them little flower buds (With Continuity)

Updated variated cows and chickens to work with 1.21.5. These were broken with the introduction of temperate, cold and warm versions of farm animals

Also some bug fixes for some little things :)

Note: As of 4/26/25 there is not a public release of Fresh Animations that is updated to work with the cow and pig's updated vanilla model. If you would still like to use Bray's World with Fresh Animations in 1.21.5+, you will need to manually disable assets/minecraft/optifine/cem/cow.jem and pig.jem or cows/pigs will look broken

*Minor tweaks to some blockstate ratios including variants of podzol.

*Fixed a sneaky little issue with mangrove stair corner pieces, brought to my attention by Schmix

NOTE: Because of some changes introduced in 1.21.5 that affect my stair model system, versions of Bray's World will no longer be maintained for Minecraft versions 1.21.4 and below unless there is a strong community interest! Will continue to maintain bug fixes for versions up to 1.21.4 as they arise.

Versions of Bray's world for 1.21.5+ should still function fine 98% for minecraft versions below 1.21.5. Stairs will definitely look wrong but that is the only known issue at this time.
