World Preview TFC

Fork of World Preview World Preview TFC adds a World Preview tab to the Create World screen and uses TerraFirmaCraft (TFC) world generation to preview seeds. It can visualize biomes, temperature, rainfall, land and water, rock types, rock layers, kaolin clay areas and hotspots.

Usage

Open Create New World and switch to the World Preview tab. Drag on the map to move along X and Z. This will load:

Biomes
Heightmap (if enabled)
Rainfall Map
Tempature Map
Land/Water/River Map
Rock Layer Maps
Rock Type Map
Kaolin Clay Areas Map
Forest Map
Tree Map
Soil Map
Hotspot Map
Volcano Icons

Other Features

Persistent seed storage
Highlighting specific biomes
Highly configurable and extendable
Seed Searching

Compatibility

Incompatible with the original World Preview Neoforged mod (mod id world_preview)

Seed Search tab in the Create World screen
Seed search UI: search area button, max-seeds input, biome match mode toggle (ANY/ALL), TFC settings button, start/stop/skip/preview/copy actions, and status messaging.
Seed search options: biome checkbox list, terrain feature list
Added Hotspot Mapping mode
Added volcano icons to map

Made World gen settings on in game preview read only (they were before but its more clear now)
Lots of performance improvements, it can still be slow especially with height sampling enabled and max map size
Removed unused features like y level sampling (might regret that if TFC ever adds underground biomes)
Fixed lots of bugs.

New Features

Added button to change map scale
Removed unused buttons from UI
Cleaned up UI, TFC mapping modes are all hidden by the expaned button
Add abaility to search for biomes by selecting them from the list and hitting search. Max search radius is 50,000 blocks in 2,000 block steps. Note that rare biomes can take a long time to find.
Perforamce improvments for the TFC map modes
Added rock list with highlighting similar to biomes
Display possible spawn area on map
When using preview in game now centers map on player instead of 0,0
Added a Kaolin clay map mode that will display areas where Kaolin clay can spawn. (Correct temp, rain and biome)
Added support for neofroge versions 21.1.213+
