Secrets of the Void

Secrets of the Void is an addon to Alex's Caves, expanding on it's biome - Abyssal Chasm. This mod strives to expand on the biome in authentic and interesting ways, with lots and lots of content planned in the future.

Current present content is, but not limited to:

• Two new materials awaiting you in the darkest depths: Shimmersteel and Scoria. The first is acquired by smelting pearls, the second by smelting a new ore found deep in the Chasm.
• Three tiers of Diving Gear with full-blown custom mechanics, high quality textures and models. The tiers are as follows: Shimmersteel, Netherite and Scoria, the fourth named Abyssalith will be added in the future.
• Two complete sets of new Shimmersteel and Scoria tools and armor. The Shimmersteel is meant to be an intermediate material between iron and diamond, or a diamond alternative, while Scoria is a new tier past netherite.
• New structure: Oxygen Vent. It's a small, fairly frequent structure that features a new block. It emits a stream of bubbles and will replenish vanilla oxygen, yet you can craft a Pressure Drain and place it onto the vent to refill backtanks while still being deep underwater. Fun fact: It launches any non-player entity!
• A handful of new advancements, such as one for killing a Hullbreaker.
• Two new music discs.
• New entries in the Deep Ones' trading loot tables.
