About

Rustic Delight is an add-on for Farmer's Delight, adding new crops, blocks and food items that stay true to the original mod and vanilla Minecraft. Each feature is configurable, so feel free to tweak it to suit your needs!

Pancakes Pancakes are a great way to make your home more cozy. Eat up to six servings for some extra energy.
Which flavor would you pick: Chocolate or Honey?


Features

🥞 Pancakes

Cozy up your home by making your own Pancakes! All you need are the new Batter and Syrup ingredients. Similar to pies and cake, pancakes can be placed decoratively as a block in your world. Right-click to eat a single pancake directly from the stack, or use a knife to take one with you!

Pancakes are available in different flavors, each granting different bonus effects: Classic, Honey, cherry blossom, chocolate, pumpkin and the healthy vegetable variant.


☕ Coffee

Brew your own coffee with different flavors and effects. Coffee is a great way to feel more energized, making you move, dig and attack faster than normal (granting the Speed and Haste effects).

Want to feel even more energized? Craft Golden Coffee Beans to brew some Haste potions.


🫑 Bell Peppers

Make your farms more colorful by growing your own sweet bell peppers! Use them in all-new cooking recipes, like the Stuffed Bell Pepper and Bell Pepper Pasta. Save some ingredients by cutting them into slices. Available in Red, Yellow and Green.

Hot tip: Explore the Jungle to find yourself some Wild Bell Peppers and Wild Coffee.


🌼 Cotton

Ever wish to obtain lots of String without needing a spider farm? You're in luck! Look for Wild Cotton in the forest and set up a farm! Use it to craft String, Paper or Canvas.

Time to fry some foods! Turn your Cotton Seeds into Cooking Oil using the Cooking Pot. Use it to cook various fried dishes, like Spring Rolls, Fruit Beignet and Fried Chicken.


🦑 Calamari

Squids and Glow Squids now drop Calamari! Cook it, slice it, and make some Fried Calamari! For the sushi lovers, you can even make a delicious Calamari Roll, and treat yourself to a luxurious new feast: Rice Roll Royale.

From colorful bell peppers to cozy cups of coffee, Rustic Delight 1.7 is packed with vibrant new bell pepper varieties, comforting recipes, world generation improvements, and plenty of delightful surprises waiting to be discovered.

Additions

  • Added mutated variants of the bell pepper crop
    • Pale Bell Pepper Seeds: Yields white, pink and orange bell peppers
    • Dark Bell Pepper Seeds: Yields black, blue and purple bell peppers
  • Added Wild Pale Bell Peppers and Wild Dark Bell Peppers, which can be found in jungles (rare)
  • Added Bell Pepper Medley, a new feast crafted with 1 of each stuffed bell pepper color
  • Added Giant Bell Pepper block for each color, crafted with Bell Pepper Slice and randomly found in jungles (rare)
    • Configurable with the bell_pepper_block_patch_chance config option (set to zero to turn off spawning)
  • Added two new types of coffee: Pumpkin Coffee and Cherry Blossom Coffee
  • Added Fried Fish: new fried food crafted with any safe fish, Batter and Cooking Oil

  • Bell Pepper Soup now grants Nourishment instead of Comfort, matching Farmer's Delight 1.3 (Comfort was retired)

  • Pancake blocks, cheesecakes, and Rice Roll Royale now show the italicized "Placeable" tooltip, matching Farmer's Delight feasts and pies

  • Cherry Blossom Cheesecake and Syrup Cheesecake slices show a Speed effect tooltip

  • Fixed bell peppers dropping only 1 slice when cut, instead of 2
  • Fixed Bell Pepper Soup recipes: the crafting recipe requires 6 bell peppers again, and the Cooking Pot recipe needs 3 instead of 4
  • Fixed Vegetable Pancakes and Sweet Salad requiring the wrong mix of vegetables and greens
  • Fixed food stats deviating from the other editions: Golden Coffee Beans, Fruit Beignet, Honey/Chocolate/Vegetable Pancake effects, salad Regeneration, Bell Pepper Pasta Nourishment
  • Fixed the coffee crop tags marking Roasted Coffee Beans as the crop instead of Coffee Beans
