Adds the Lightningborn origin to the Origins mod, control lightning and thunder to your will and cause devastating damage to everyone and everything!

You need to put this datapack in your datapack AND resourcepack folder!
Lightningborn
You are a creature made of pure lightning, you have the power to control lightning at will causing devastating damage to everything and everyone around you.
🟢 Electroshock Mastery
This is your primary ability, activate using the primary ability key.
Strike every entity—exluding items and passive mobs—in a 12-block radius.
This uses 4 energy points.
Has a 300 tick cooldown.
🟢 Lightning's Fury
This is your secondary ability, activate using the secondary ability key.
Strike yourself with the fury of a lightning storm which will granting you speed III, haste II, and strength I for 1 minute, aswell as refill your energy bar at a rate of 1 energy point/80 ticks on top of the normal regeneration.
The faster energy bar regeneration will continue to naturally regenerate if you fall below 5 energy points.
This uses 1 energy point for every 30 resource points, starting at 10 energy points needed.
🟢 Skyward Surge
This is your tertiary ability, activate using the save toolbar key.
Place down a marker and teleport back to it anytime, use ability again to teleport.
This uses 5 energy points to place the marker. None to teleport.
Has no cooldown.
🟢 Snap Step
This is your quaternary ability, activate using the load toolbar key.
You instantly move super quickly in the direction you are moving horizontally, moving in that direction a few blocks.
This uses 2 energy to snap step. Cannot be used when standing still.
Has a 16 tick cooldown.
🟢 Lightning Speed
You are constantly 1.5x faster than a regular player.
🟡 Thunder Roar
This is your quinary ability, activate using the highlight players (spectators) key.
Create a loud thunder sound, this does nothing but can be used for scaring friends :D
This uses 1 energy point.
Has a 100 tick cooldown.
🟡 Energy Bar
Your hunger bar is replaced by an energy bar that will slowly regenerate over time at a rate of 1 energy point/120 ticks, your abilities use energy excluding passive abilities. You are also immune to hunger effects.
You have a max of 20 energy points.
If you manage to get to an empty energy bar then you will take 0.5 hearts/40 ticks.
🟡 Illumination
As lightning you give off a glow effect, as well as become immune to dark effects such as wither, darkness, and blindness.
🟡 Conductive Hunger
This is how you can eat, shift + right click while holding an edible item for 1.20.1 and below. Just hold right click for 1.20.2+.
As lightning you have no need for food, but you are able to eat conductive ingots and food, and are immune to all hunger related effects
When you eat an ingot/item, you gain an ability, these abilities are passive and come with downsides, only one of these abilities can be active at a time.
Iron Ingot
Restores 3 energy points, and heals 2 hearts. You will glow an iron gray.
Ability: Electromagnetism. Your item pick-up range is tripled (can pick-up items 6 blocks away).
No Downside.
Lasts for 10 seconds.
Gold Ingot
Restores 3 energy points, and heals 2 hearts. You will glow gold.
Ability: Gilded Fortune. You gain luck II.
Downside: Fragile Fortune. You lose 2 hearts due to how malleable and ductile gold is.
Lasts for 4 minutes.
Copper Ingot
Restores 3 energy points, and heals 2 hearts. You will glow orange.
Ability: Electrostatic Charge. Your punches are now electrically charges and you deal extra damage and paralize entities (give them slowness 3 for 20 seconds), aswell as have a 2% chance to strike them with lightning
Downside: Static Interference. You just ate copper, you're weak to copper, what did you think would happen? You get slowness 3.
Lasts for 15 seconds.
Redstone
Restores 5 energy points, and heals 3 hearts. You will glow red.
Ability: Energized Pulse. You can detect any entity in your render distance, passive mobs are green, hostile mobs are red, neutral mobs are grey, and items are blue.
Downside: Unfamiliar Energy. Redstone isn't really electric and has an unfamiliar energy which makes you sick, bleh. You get nausea 4.
Lasts for 15 seconds.
Amethyst
Restores 5 energy points, and heals 3 hearts. You will glow purple.
Ability: Crystalline Reflex. The amethyst shard broke within you due to the high power and heat, the sharp shards cover your skin giving you thorns while allowing you to see in the dark. You gain natural thorns, and nightvision.
Downside: Splintered Vitality. Due to amethyst's fragile nature, you become much more brittle and will take more damage. You take 20% more damage.
Lasts for 45 seconds.
Netherite Ingot
Restores 16 energy points, and heals 10 hearts. You will glow a dark, dark grey.
Ability: Power Surge. You temporarily become immortal, yeah, you take absolutely no damage.
Abiltiy: Gilded Fortune x4. Since netherite is made with 4 gold ingots, you gain luck VIII (8).
Downside: You're eating netherite -_-
Power Surge lasts 6 seconds. Gilded Fortune x4 lasts 1 minute

Enchanted Golden Apple.
Golden Carrot.
Glistering Watermelon (1.20.2+)
🔴 Dissipate
You take damage in water as it conducts you, and you dissipate in it, rain will deal less damage over time due to there not being much water, and if it is thundering you will not take any damage. On easy mode you will take half the damage.
1 heart of damage/20 ticks if in water.
1 heart of damage/35 ticks if in rain.
🔴 Metallic Lethargy
You will not be able to naturally regenerate energy if you fall below 6 energy points, and will recieve slowness and mining fatigue until you go above 5 energy point.
🔴 Static Interference
When standing near copper you will becomes weakened and slow, this excludes lightning rods.
(List is incomplete and needs to be updated for future versions)
As lightning, you are immune to fire and lightning strikes.

- The resource pack had the wrong namespace which caused problems. This had been fixed.
- For those using the datapack, you will have to replace the resourcepack in your resourcepack folder. (The datapack doubles as the resourcepack)
- For those using the mod, just update the mod.

- When teleporting the amount of blocks fallen is set to 0. This change was implemented last update, but I forgot to include it in the changelogs

- The resouce bars used for the ore passives have been cleaned up, no more stray transparent pixels
- Changed the scoreboard name for marker identification/ownership from
playeridID->lightningID

Rewrote many descriptions to be more descriptive and story driven, fixed them aswell.
Added all current copper blocks to copper_blocks.json, including lightning rod and raw copper block, meaning more blocks should work with Static Interference.

Updated it so you can now eat Iron, Gold, Copper, Netherite Ingots, Redstone, and Amethyst. It will play the animation and sound as if you were eating regular food
You can now eat Glistering Watermelon which will refill the same amount of energy as a Golden Carrot

Added passive abilities when you eat Iron, Gold, Copper, Netherite ingots, Redstone, and Amethyst, only one passive ability can be active at a time.
water damage will now ignore armor.

Gilded Fortune x4 Lasts for 1 minute
Edibles
Golden Apples, Enchanted Golden Apples, and Golden Carrots are now edible
You can no longer eat cake
You not longer "Starve" you will take a modified version of it called "Electric Starvation", 0.5 heart every 2 seconds when you have an empty energy bar
