Nearby Delight lets Farmer's Delight Cooking Pots automatically use ingredients from nearby storage. Pick a recipe, and the pot does the rest.

Requires Farmer's Delight (NeoForge) or Farmer's Delight Refabricated (Fabric).

How to Use

  1. Place a Cooking Pot.
  2. Put ingredients in your storage (chests, cabinets, barrels...).
  3. Select a recipe.
  4. Cook.

  • Pulls ingredients from nearby chests and containers automatically

  • Configurable search radius.

Configuration

Nearby Delight can be configured through the Mod Menu or the config file.

# Range: 1 ~ 16
searchRadius = 5 # Default

A lower radius may improve performance, while a higher radius lets Cooking Pots access ingredients from farther away.

⚠️ Known Limitations

  • Nearby storage resyncs after every recipe click, not live — if contents change without a click, reopen the pot to refresh.

  • JEI and EMI support — now works with JEI and EMI “+” button, just like the recipe book.
  • In-game configuration screen available from the Mods menu.

Fixed

  • Fixed cooking progress carrying over when switching recipes.
  • Fixed an issue where additional ingredients could not be added after a meal finished cooking.
  • Fixed a recipe-swap bug that could cause instant completion.

Removed

  • Removed the blockedContainers configuration option.
