Mythika: Creatures of Greek Myth

Description

Creatures out of Greek myth, and the places they live.

The Cyclops

A giant of the peaks and the stony shores. His club lands as a shockwave rather than a blow, and everything near it goes flying.

The Minotaur

He haunts the deep caves. Up close he gores you with a horn. Give him room and he paws the ground, then charges, breaking through whatever is in the way.

The Satyr

Neutral, and would rather play than fight. Satyrs wander the woods and meadows in small groups and gather at a campfire to pipe. What they play is real ancient Greek music. Hurt one and the whole grove turns on you.

The Labyrinth

A maze with a minotaur already inside it. He is bound to the place and cannot be lured out, so the fight has to be had in there. Break it off and you have to find him again.

The Cyclops' Cave

A hall bored into a mountainside, the door-stone rolled off the mouth. A bonfire under an open oculus, a sheep fold, and at the back his shelf, holding the bones of everyone who came before you.

Look for the smoke from above.

  • The Cyclops is a real threat now - 160 health, a 26 damage slam, and a shockwave wide enough that simply backing away no longer dodges it
  • The Minotaur now has 110 health, a 15 damage gore and a 22 damage charge, and it comes round for another charge every five seconds rather than every seven

Fixed

  • The Minotaur no longer snaps straight out of a charge into a swing at thin air - it now takes a moment to recover after the impact
  • Updating the mod now applies rebalanced defaults to a config you already have, instead of silently leaving you on the old numbers. Anything you have changed yourself is left alone
