Icy Coal for 1.15.1 and higher requires CoalAPI! Download it here
Icy Coal is the direct opposite to Spicy Coal. It only smelts 4 items and can be found on the surface. It cannot be made into torches. The only item it can craft is an Icy Sword, which doesn't do much damage, but that's easily made up by the fact that it slows your enemies for about half a second on each hit, but the sword breaks fast. You can also right click with the sword in hand to extinguish yourself (as long as you're not affected by the Cursed Inferno potion effect from spicy coal). The blocks in the mod are cosmetic except for the Icy Ingot Block, which is used to craft the sword.

icy coal is also getting its last 1.12.2 update
buffed freeze time to 3 seconds on the sword buffed sword durability to 150 you can repair the sword with icy ingots lowered the pickaxe type needed to break icy coal ore and it now uses glass / ice sounds instead of stone sounds 1 new advancement oredicts for the resources compatibility with spicy coal: 1 spicy coal + 8 icy coal = 9 regular coal compatibility with elementary staffs: 4 icy coal + 1 icy coal block = 1 ice essence
i trust kroko to do more with this mod than i ever had done
