Firmalife

Firmalife is a cooking and farming addon for TerraFirmaCraft for 1.12, 1.18, and beyond. It aims to add depth and realism to the food systems in the mod as well as provide a variety of different foods to eat. Many features from 1.7.10 TFC addons have been brought into Firmalife, making it a fresh yet nostalgic experience.

Documentation for Firmalife for 1.18+ lives on TFC's official Field Guide Website, whereas the 1.12 documentation is on the Github Wiki. The Github Wiki also contains API documentation for Firmalife for 1.18+.

Additions

  • Added ricotta, mozzarella, and blue cheese.
  • Added Whey.
  • Added blue mold.
    • Used to inoculate blue cheese.
    • Made from moldy bread in a barrel of water.
    • Blue mold can be used to cure parasitic infections in beehives
  • Added sound and particle effects to many block interactions, including ovens. Burning items in the oven now is more obvious when it happens.
  • Added better flavor/color to lots of Jade tooltips, and added a new tooltip for the climate station.
  • Added missing field guide info on flowering and fruiting.

Changes

  • Blocks like planters, shelves, and sprinklers now activate immediately when placed in a valid greenhouse or cellar.
  • Bees are now active above 7°C (previously 11°C).
  • Western Honey Bees now have the Hardiness ability as a default ability.
  • Wild beehives now anger and are destroyed when hit by hard projectiles.
  • Buffed the wine glass recipe (2 -> 6 glasses per batch).

Fixes

  • Fixed climate stations being unable to detect a greenhouse or cellar when first placed.
  • Fixed a beehive frame duplication bug.
  • Fixed a jar duplication bug.
  • Fixed an oven temperature bug.
  • Fixed many recipes accepting rotten ingredients.
