You're adorable! You're also a highly-regenerative predator, but still adorable!

(+) Amphibious:

You can breathe both water and air and swim a little faster underwater!

(+) Emergency Exit:

When you would die, you instead gain a burst of invisibility, speed, and regeneration, at the cost of needing to recover your drastically-reduced maximum health over time. Emergency Exit becomes unavailable until you've restored all of your maximum health. Your hearts are regained on respawn or wake-up and they regenerate 2x faster if you are under the Regeneration effect or at max hunger and 4x faster if you have both.

(=) Short Stature:

You're 1 block tall but have only 7 hearts.

(=) Cave Dweller:

You see badly in the light on low moisture but move faster and don't exhaust as fast in light level 0. You can only sleep in the dark. You can also see in darkness.

(+) Aqua Affinity:

You break blocks underwater unimpeded.

(+) Charm Dance:

You can make nearby entities swoon over you by letting out an enchanting dance, looking so cute that it lowers others's defense and causes you to regenerate. Spam sneak to dance!

(=) Water Dependency:

Out of water, you slowly lose moisture. Running low on moisture causes you to walk slower, take more damage and lose more hunger.

(+) Relief:

Your swim speed and water vision increases when your moisture is below max.

(-) Carnivore:

You can only eat meat.

Credits to LuaDotExe#9051 on Discord for making most of this origin! They don't like their Axolotl much anymore and they don't have the motivation to change it, but there's not many well designed Axolotl origins or small aquatic origins, so I decided to solve both of these (hopefully). This rework is supposed to focus on what people love about the original (risk-taking, the adrenaline from escaping death etc.) and distance it from Merling.
