Introducing a high impact origin based on the powerful and deceitful oni of japanese legend. In your demonic nature, you are strengthened by hate, and utilize your dark powers to change your physical form and perform destructive techniques. Only held back by your insatiable appetite and the element of your weakness.

Known Issue: When shapeshifting, you are able to view your own model in first person.

Shapeshifting

As an oni, you are able to change your form to most conceivable beings, with there being 15 available forms you can shift into. Certain forms feature special abilities, and your maximum health will correspond to the health of the form you are shifted in.

Animalistic forms cannot interact with blocks, have armor, use items, damage creatures, or manifest clouds of destruction.

Clouds Of Destruction

Additionally, you are able to manifest pure clouds of darkness, in which you can apply in various ways. To utilize these dark techniques, you must charge up these clouds by holding the designated keybind for 4 seconds, which can then be released by right clicking.

Additional Information:

• Utilizing the Merge technique while holding an empty bottle allows you to fill it up into a Bottle o' Darkness.
• The destructive power of the Shatter technique cannot destroy blocks of unbreakable nature, such as bedrock.
• If someone not of oni nature were to utilize these clouds, they would find their bodies swift to corrode.

Fuel Of Fight

Hatred and anger are what makes you strong. You are able to accumulate hate by attacking, being attacked, or killing creatures, which in turn can increase your hate level. It naturally decreases over time as you don't fight.

The higher your hate level, the stronger you are. However, by neglecting your aggression and letting your hate decrease, you let yourself become weak.

You can tell your current hate and hate level by using a Lapis Lazuli item in either hand, which will display both above your hotbar. Additionally, you can tell when your hate level increases or decreases through particles emitted from your body.
