Velocity Shaders

A higher performance fork of Mellow Shaders for basicially every version of Minecraft.

This project results in an average framerate of rougly 133 FPS on a 5GB NVIDIA Quadro P2200 with the Remarkably Optimized modpack. Most GPUs can run this at 240 FPS or higher.

Per the original author's request, this project has been named Velocity instead of Mellow: Reimagined, so if you dig through the files and see references to it, this is why. I didn't see the file until the end, so sorry!

Optional Performance Increases

The #1 and BEST method for increasing your framerate is a good modpack for this. I recommend Remarkably Optimized for the best experience, though some mods are incompatable with Ixeris if you like adding mods such as flashback. Adding flashback also requires removing the C2ME mod from RO

If your running this on integrated graphics, disable water reflections, set the profile from custom to fast (default), disable dynamic shadows and lighting, and if you want to be extra cautious, disable the sun rays and bloom. Most players will not encounter issues like this as Mellow is already a highly performance based shader and this is a fork of it featuring additional performance upgrades over base Mellow.
