TrueLightFX Lite

  • Looking like Vibrant-visuals without the FPS cost. A lightweight shader built for low to mid-range PCs that refuses to look boring.

What You Get:

- Realistic Waves - animated water surface with adjustable size and speed

- God Rays - light shafts through trees and windows, with intensity control

- Dynamic Fog - golden daylight tones, naturally dark nights and caves

- Glowing Ores - real additive emission that cuts through cave darkness

- Underwater Caustics - animated light patterns via fast sine-wave math

- Wavy Plants - wind-affected leaves, sand, and vegetation

- Bloom - adjustable post-processing glow

- TAA + FXAA - your choice of anti-aliasing

- Two Cloud Styles - Standard or Enhanced

- Smart Profiles - instant presets from "low" to "your pc isnt that slow isnt it".

Compatibility: TrueLightFX might work with the Minecraft versions 1.8.2 – 1.17, but older versions may experience bugs and reduced smoothness. For the best experience, it is strongly recommended to use Minecraft 1.17 or newer.Also I dont recomment using optifine bc of some features that are very buggy on Optfine but on Iris they just work fine!

TrueLightFX Lite v5.6.1

Fixes

  • Cherry blossom leaves (cherry_leaves) and other plants like pink petals are no longer completely overexposed and no longer incorrectly emit light like glowing ores.
  • Cherry blossom leaves and azalea leaves now properly wave and wiggle in the wind, perfectly matching the animation of other tree leaves (oak, spruce, etc.).
  • Updated and corrected block mappings for recent Minecraft updates. New blocks like the open_eyeblossom will now glow correctly in the dark, while the closed_eyeblossom and other normal plants will not.
  • Cleaned up the underlying shader code by removing unnecessary descriptive comments, keeping the codebase tidy.

TrueLightFX Lite v5.6

New Features & Enhancements

  • Glowing Ores & Flowers: The "Glowing Ores" setting under Gimmicks has been expanded and renamed to "Glowing Ores & Flowers".
  • Lush Emissives: Added beautiful glowing effects to various lush plants and leaves, including Spore Blossoms, Glow Lichen, Pitcher Plants, Cherry Leaves, and Azalea.
  • Dynamic Glow Colors: Emissive blocks now glow dynamically using their original texture colors instead of a static yellow tint (e.g., Spore Blossoms now naturally glow pink, Glow Lichen glows cyan, and Diamond Ore glows blue).
  • Animated Glowing Plants: Glowing foliage is fully integrated with the wind animations and will continue to sway naturally in the wind while glowing.
  • Optimized Performance: The new emissive additions were built directly into the highly optimized existing ore glowing system, ensuring absolutely zero performance impact.

TrueLightFX Lite v5.5.3

Fixes

  • Odd reflection of sun in water rotating randomly when moving the screen is now fixed.
  • Shadow resolution slider has been corrected to include 8K resolution and properly align all profile settings.
  • Default rain intensity is now 0.4, meaning falling rain drops are visible by default rather than just splashes.
  • The default base profile when loading the pack for the first time is now set to Medium.

  • Adjusted the default God Rays Intensity to 2
  • Reconfigured God Rays settings for better user control:
  • Fixed an issue where the intensity slider range was locked to a maximum of 4.0
  • Restored full slider range (steps 0-10) in the shader settings menu
  • Enhanced GLSL compiler compatibility for the intensity calculations across all platforms
