April '26 Update

The Vanilla Models, GUI and Variants-CIT Update!

In this update, I've re-added my custom models for various vanilla blocks and specific GUIs for each and every interface. I had seperated them before but found it extremely difficult to troubleshoot. On the Slimefun side of things, I've added Variants-CIT support for custom armor models! I've also added support for the FluffyMachines addon. Have fun!

One side note: I've begun dipping my toes into the Minetorio plugin and made my existing textures work with that GUI. Not sure how far I will go with it but feel free to give it a try!

I know I said in the past I wasn't going to go back and support anything before 1.21.6 but after checking, everything still seems to work. CITResewn is my recommendation for anything before 1.21.6. Optifine seems to work just fine but your milage will vary. 1.21.4 & 1.21.5 are NOT supported anymore. I am still focusing on 1.21.6+ for anything new in the future.

Feburary '26 Update

Focus for the Future

Going forward, I'm only going to focus on newer versions of Minecraft. Versions of Minecraft on/after 1.21.6 should work with this pack out of the box. No extra mods or files required.

I completely focused on making my pack work with 1.21.11 but did spot check 1.21.6 for any issues.

Summer 2025 Update / Part 3

Another Massive Update

I've been hard at work making this texture pack work more out-of-the-box rather than rely on an overlay pack. For this release I've made my pack work on every version between 1.19.4 to 1.21.8. I've also removed my personal changes. I am working on a seperate pack that will be available as an optional addition.

*All my tests are on a 1.20.4 server with ViaVersion installed. This allows newer clients to connect to older servers.

What I recommend for each client version

• 1.19.4
  • CIT Resewn (1.1.5+1.19.4)
• 1.20, 1.20.1 and 1.20.2
  • CIT Resewn (1.2.2+1.20.1)
• 1.20.4
  • CIT Resewn (1.1.5+1.20.4)
  • Optifine (1.20.4 HD I8_pre4 Ultra, only one I tried)
• 1.20.3, 1.20.5, 1.20.6, 1.21.2 and 1.21.3
  • Item-models.yml installed Server-side
• 1.21 and 1.21.1
  • CIT Resewn (1.2.2+1.21)
• 1.21.4 and 1.21.5
  • Vanilla with respective compat pack (below)
• 1.21.6+ (Personal Favorite)
  • Vanilla (No mods required!)

Every version from 1.19.4 to 1.21.8 works perfectly with the Item-models.yml. If you have access to the server, please install it in "Server Folder" > plugins > Slimefun > item-models.yml. It is located in the base texture pack folder.

Compatibility Packs

2 Versions of Minecraft require packs that fix compatiblity

• The respective packs are available below in the file downloads

Item-models.yml updated

Make sure to update your item-models.yml file if you previously had it installed! I've shifted some values around because I didn't leave room for certain categories. Again, this is located in the base texture pack folder.

Summer 2025 Update / Part 2

*All my tests are on a 1.20.4 server with ViaVersion installed. This allows newer clients to connect to older servers.

Optifine Support

Since I'm only one person I have only been able to test so many versions. I can confirm it works with these versions of Optifine:

• 1.19.4 HD U I4
• 1.20.4 HD U I7

Versions I have tested but seem to be broken:

• 1.20.6 HD U J1 pre18
• 1.21.4 HD U J3

Vanilla Updates

I also tested Vanilla with and without the item-model.yml file installed.

Tested and working versions with Item-Models.yml installed:

• 1.19.4
• 1.20.4
• 1.20.6
• 1.21.4
• 1.21.5
• Other versions should work but are not tested

Tested and working versions without Item-Models.yml installed:

• 1.21.5 (Requires secondary pack "Overlays")

1.21.6 doesn't seem to play well with the Slimefun guide GUI. Items do seem to show up as intended however. Results will vary!

CITResewn No Longer Working

In theory both Optifine and CITResewn should look in the same places for properties files. In making Optifine work, CITResewn doesn't seem to work any more. If you need that mod support, download V5 of this texture pack.

(Certain versions of CITResewn work. Don't use the 1.2.2 Beta versions. I can confirm the pack works on 1.1.4 for 1.20.4. Other versions require testing.)

Summer 2025 Update

I've spent the past 3 months redoing GUI textures and adding support for 1.21.5. Attached to this version is an overlay pack for players that don't have access to the server files.

"To Infinity 1.21.5+ - Overlays" provides newer client versions with textures even without the item-model.yml installed! It also enables renaming paper to a machine name to obtain a machine overlay!

One Year Anniversary Update

Changes

• Added Readme.txt for helpful tips
• Added Item-Model.yml
  • Server owners can replace the existing file in:
    • "Server Folder" > plugins > Slimefun > item-models.yml
  • This allows vanilla clients to just install the texture pack without any mods, to see special item tetxures
• Added 1.21+ formatting (Items Folder)
• Should work on any version over 1.19.4+ without any issues
• Technically would work on lower versions but GUI textures may be broken (Smithing Table)
• CIT Resewn is still supported but not required
  • Is required for:
    • Custom Armor Models
    • Paper renaming in Anvils

Things to note

• When replacing the item-models.yml file, make sure the server isn't running.
  • Items obtained after installing the item model file, will have the correct number attached to it.
  • Items previously obtained will NOT have any data on them, meaning no textures applied. Slimefun adds Custom Model Data to all items when crafted/obtained.
• Slimefun wasn't updated to 1.21 at the time of posting but if no big changes were made, I don't see why it shouldn't work any more!

Compatibility and Condense Update

• Combined the new format and the old format for increased compatability in one resource pack!
• Works flawlessly (that I tested XD)
  • 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.4
• Works but Smithing Table GUI is broken
