Der's Smooth Shaded Font (Faithful 32x)

Update v20 - Cleanup III:

This release addresses a compatibility issue with the Big Sign Writer Mod (https://modrinth.com/mod/bigsignwriter) along with some config changes.

• Fixed an issue that caused warped text when trying to use unicode fonts from the Big Sign Writer Mod. (Thank you, anonymous bug reporter!)

As a result of fixing the issue, the following unicode glyphs are no longer affected by the pack, with many of them being shape-like glyphs that would have had their shading removed eventually: 2500-259f, 25ae, 25da, 25db, 25e2, 25e3, fe20-fe4f, 2070-209f, 2768, 2769, 208d, 208e, 203e, 3000, 21c2, 23b2, 23b3, 25f9, 25fa, 29f6, 1732, 1753, a94f, 275f, 2981

Note that the above codepoints had to be manually researched and disabled, minor oversights are possible. A select few of the mod's fonts re-using common glyphs like commas is not fixable by this pack.

• A few filled-circled numbers have had their shading removed as a design choice (2776-277f, 278a-2793) as well as six miscellaneous symbols (262f, 2051, 2610-2612, 25c6).

Config changes:

• Server-related settings have been grouped into a new "Servers" category
• Replaced "Apply several glyph size fixes" with "Use corresponding glyph definitions"
• Some fixes previously included in "Apply several glyph size fixes" have been made seperate non-default settings
• Updated information on some config entries, including previously missing requirements

v19.1 - Performance Patch:

Fixed some oversights from v19 testing which only affect the 32x version.

• Fixed outdated version coloring in config menu
• Removed unnecessary capabilities from Respackopts config (this improves performance!)

Update v19 - Color Setting

• Slight improvements to config menu tooltips (Respackopts)
• Added new non-default configuration option: "Extra » Force default text colors", letting you override other (forced server) resourcepack's text color changes back to default text colors. Intended for Hypixel SkyBlock, 1.21.11+.

Update v18: Custom Config

The biggest (technical) update so far. Now features a custom configuration screen powered by Respackopts (optional). Uses default settings without it.

Update variant v17B - Backport:

• Backport of v17 to older game versions, making the current shading style finally accessible for those

Since not much demand for this variant is expected, not all fixes were backported, but anything up to v12, including shaded unicode font, is backported plus v17's shaded enchanting particles.

Update v17 - Enchanted:

• Enchanting particles now match enchanting table's shaded glyphs
• Readded shaded illager glyphs in case someone has a use for them
• Also works on 26.2+ as most recent releases

Update v16 - Cleanup II:

• Fixed a double-struck issue (see Q&A #5): ✓ 2713 (borrows from ✔ 2714)

• Shading removed for better visibility: ░ 2591, ▒ 2592, ▓ 2593, ⚀ 2680, ⚁ 2681, ⚂ 2682, ⚃ 2683, ⚄ 2684, ⚅ 2685

• Removed asciillager.png since illager glyphs are currently not used by the game

Update v15 - Cleanup:

• Removed shading from certain symbols:

  • a. for consistency with ascii.png rows #12-14:
    • unicode_page_25.png: 2580-259f (includes ▚ 259a, width fix applies)
  • b. due to shading not looking great for those in some cases:

  • c. due to visual issue if formatted bold (v14):

• Removed unused unicode_page_00.png

  • ⓘ Contains the unicode font version of the latin alphabet. Normally used when "Force Unicode Font" in language settings is enabled. While it was included, it was not actually used. Doing some testing, it can work, however it would have spacing issues & v14's visual issues that cannot be easily fixed.
