All block textures seem to have vanished. Is it still possible to play the game?

Inspired by other packs that replace block textures to something less... visually distinct, this one changes every single placeable block texture with the fallback pink and black checkerboard pattern. Does not affect GUI, item sprites, or mobs. Supports all versions post-The Flattening (1.13+).

Was this fun to make? Hell no.

Does this serve any purpose? More like a "why not".

Is the game still playable? From a technical definition, yes. :)

  • Added Cinnabar, Sulfur, Sulfur Spikes, and all their variants.
  • Bed textures were moved to "blocks", so those will work properly in 26.2.

Additions:

  • The beam from a Beacon is now a checkerboard.

Adjustments:

  • Some textures in the entity folder were moved to subfolders in 26.1 Snapshot 2, so they now coexist in order to maintain backwards compatibility.

Metadata:

  • Flavor text on the resource pack screen now shows "1.13 - 26.1" as the supported versions.
  • Bumped resource pack version to 77 to be marked as compatible with 26.1 Snapshot 2.

  • Added the blocks from 1.21.9, minus the copper golem due to being classified as a mob

  • "chain" and "iron_chain" now co-exist to maintain compatibility with 1.21.8 and lower

  • The log will no longer spit out errors regarding unused frames for specific blocks

  • Made the flavor text for the supported version range more distinct

  • The pack.mcmeta is up to date with the new format changes (pack_format is now 64 aka 1.21.8 and supported_formats minimum is now 15 aka 1.20, but it still retains all backwards-compatibility)

  • New pack.png to fit the meme that the pack title is based on
