Moon Phase Clock

The moon may have more of an effect on your Minecraft world than you realize. A full moon can cause black Cats to spawn more frequently and Spiders to turn invisible. Most notably, Slimes will spawn the most during a full moon, and not at all during a new moon. Minecraft, however, doesn't give you many resources to easily know what the moon phase will be until night comes, even in the F3 menu.

This resource pack takes advantage of the ability to detect the moon phase through items to give Clocks more functionality. They now will have a darkened region matching the moon's shadow when it is viewed looking east (where the moon rises) while still having the ability to tell the time of day.
