Mineforgian
This resource pack replaces the vanilla sounds with sounds from half life 2, and more recently, using more sounds from other valve games. Examples include:
- footsteps
- doors
- combat sounds
- placing/breaking blocks
- bows/crossbows
- fall damage/burning/drowning
- death sound.
My goal was to make a sound pack that wouldn't be anoying to use over time, unlike some memes i've seen. i've been playing with my resource pack and adding to it over the past few months. I hope you enjoy.

in the latest version of the resource pack, I have separated the music into an add-on resource pack. Mine Life 2 26.2 update
This upate adds support for minecraft 26.2, along with sounds for the accompanying the update. this includes the following:
- All sulfur and cinibar blocks
- The nauseous gas from potent sulfur
Alongside these aditions, some minor changes were made to preexisting sounds, including:
- Adding a proper sound event to tripwire hooks so they play the correctly
- Added a new sound for flowing water
- changed the sound of walking on glass
- added new sounds for the decorated pot.

This update adds new sounds to the shelf block. All sounds accociated with the shelf have been replaced with sounds inspired by Left 4 Dead 2. The sounds that were changed are as follows:

- Multi swap
- activate/deactivate
- taking/placing.

Version 1.8 of Mine Life 2 adds many new sounds to the pack. The new additions are as follows:

- Resin
- Resin bricks
- Moss Block
- Ancient Debris
- Nether Bricks

- Fireworks!
Yes, fireworks in Mine Life 2 now share the sounds from the Dark Carnival campaign from Left 4 Dead 2!

This minor update enhances the combat sounds for the player character, and features a new sound for the sweep attack with swords, inspired by Left 4 Dead 2 Melee combat.
Bamboo sounds were also added to the pack to align with the other wood types.

This update to the pack brings some new changes. I have added new sounds. The sounds are as follows: honey blocks, chains, nylium, block of diamond, gold and merald, glass.
I have also edited the sounds.json file to fix some glaring issues, such as nether stem blocks playing their default sound instead of the pack version. campfire, and furnace, sound effects have had their volume lowered to a reasonable level.
most importantly, I have decided to remove the music from the pack, and make it an addon resource pack instead. it will apear as a suplementary file in the versions tab.

This version of the pack fixes the major issue of rain being too loud, adds some new songs to the pack, and new sounds for packed mud, rooted dirt, and the composter. adds support for 1.21.11
