Welcome to Lively 'Mons
Lively 'Mons is a Cobblemon addon that adds Fakemon all designed, modeled, animated, and implemented by me (Captain Nautilus)
Lively 'Mons currently holds Pokemon from the Sanrosa region, based on real-world California, although I plan to add some from other regions as well.
How to Install
Keep in mind that the datapack version of this addon needs to be put in both your datapack and resourcepack folder.
Mod Version: Add the file to your modpack and you're ready to go! (In multiplayer all players need to install the mod)
Datapack Version: Add the .zip file from whatever version you want and add it to your world's datapack folder your resourcepacks folder.
If nothing gets added something is wrong with the datapack folder. If there is something added but it looks like a substitute and the name is all weird then something is wrong with the resourcepacks folder.
How to make the starters work
If you want to be able to choose the starters in the starter menu then follow these steps:
In the Cobblemon config turn on "exportstarterconfig" to be true. Then, restart your game.
After restarting, inside of Cobblemon go into your resourcepacks folder and click "Open Pack Folder" on the bottom left. This is the same way you add new resourcepacks into minecraft.
On the top bar it should have the word "resourcepacks" and to the left of it separates by a ">", and then the name of your pack like maybe "cobblemon" or if your using regular minecraft, just "minecraft" click the name of your pack.
Now there should be a folder called "starters.json" go into it. Now at the top of that folder, turn "useConfigStarters": true. You do not need to make any other changes to this file.
Reload your game and you should be all ready to go!
For Use on Servers
I am completely fine with this pack being used in any way in private servers with friends. When it comes to public servers, I have a strict policy of not allowing any of my designs to be rewards for pay to win systems, especially ones that involve gambling. If you find any public server breaking this policy please report it on my support channel.

Currently all of the fakemon are designed by me
Saucecoie did all of the balancing for competetive and coded many of the custom abilities and all of the custom moves.

Thanks to all of the amazing people on the Cobblemon team for their mod and some of their assets which were used to make this pack. Their creation has made Lively 'Mons possible and their discord server helped me so much when making this. Literally none of Lively 'Mons would be possible without them.

Sugary Showdown
The Sugary Showdown Update adds 6 new Species of Pokémon, A Complete Rebalance of every existing Fakémon with the help of Saucecoie, 16 Custom Moves, and 7 Custom Abilities, along with huge background changes like full support for Locators, Shoulder Mounts, and Alpha Eye Overlays.
New Pokémon
Catertiller - Bug
Chivalrough - Bug
Sugareign - Bug / Fairy
Calfresh - Grass
Lactarine - Grass
Laprise - Flying / Dragon
New Moves and Abilities
Added 16 Custom Signature Moves (With Particle Effects) and 7 New Custom Signature Abilities.
Abilities
Acoustics (Calciopi): Opponents that use sound moves against the Pokémon or its allies fail, and the Pokémon's Sp. Atk is boosted instead.
Blowout (Shiboom): If the Pokémon faints due to a Physical attack, it sets up Tailwind on its side of the field.
Burning Passion (Solarica): The Pokémon's Attack stat is increased for each burned Pokémon on the field.
Forest's Guardian (Slacho): The Pokémon and its allies take half as much damage from multitarget moves.
Tactical Strike (Mortaraid): The power of ball and bomb moves used by the Pokémon is boosted by 50%.
Thick Skin (Branchief): Rigid skin gives the Pokémon full immunity to all slicing moves.
Wind Turbine (Citrisaurid): Using an attack with priority charges the Pokémon.
Moves
Aerial Dance (Laprise): Riding the winds, the user attacks the target by dancing and flapping its wings. This may also boost the user's Atk stat.
Blowing Coat (Mamolint): The user attacks by shedding large amounts of dust and lint from its body at opposing Pokémon. This move boosts the user's Speed stat but lowers its Defense stat.
Conflagration (Solarica): The user fires flame-laced feathers at opposing Pokémon. This may also leave the targets with a burn.
Crash Landing (Xenoster): The user crashes its UFO-like body cloaked in mysterious power into the target. This move's power is boosted by 50% if the user is on Psychic Terrain.
Downpour (Spinarift): The user attacks by pelting opposing Pokémon with strong, flowing water from above. When the user knocks out a target with this move, rain is summoned.
Fallout (Folly): The user expels streams of radioactive particles from its mouth. This also lowers the opposing Pokémon's Defence stats.
Fungal Infection (Fungalith): The user contaminates the target with its spores. If the targer was suffering from a non-volatile status condition, it is replaced with sleep.
Hunting Hour (Lupayena): The user rallies its ally to join its hunt. The target's Special Attack, Special Defence, and Critical Hit Chance are all raised. This move usually goes first.
Hypothermic Blow (Slacho): The user flash freezes the target with a mere touch, causing its skin to sear. This may also leave the target with a burn.
Jet Stream (Citrisaurid): The user rides an updraft and swoops down violently at the target. This move usually goes first, and inflicts Attack or Sp. Atk damage—whichever stat is higher for the user.
Knife Storm (Sajonin): The user attacks by throwing a flurry of razor-sharp feathers at the target. This move hits two to five times in a row.
Lightning Lure (Anglerine): The user ambushes the target by luring it in using a flashing electrical light. This move usually goes first, and makes the user become the center of attention.
Morning Prep (Lactarine): The user prepares itself for a nice morning. This summons harsh sunlight, grassy terrain, and water sport all at once. While this move usually goes first, it works only on the first turn each time the user enters battle.
Mortar Shot (Mortaraid): The user attacks twice by lobbing boulders from the cannon on its back. If there are two opposing Pokémon, this move hits each of them once.
Oxidizing Agent (Pungudua): The user corrodes the target with acidic goo. This may also leave the target badly poisoned. This move is super effective on Steel types.
Wake Up Call (Thunkoo): The user's clock malfunctions, making it explode in a time-distorting blast. The user faints upon using this move. This also summons a bizarre area in which slower Pokémon get to move first.
