Hardcore Hearts Sound Pack

📢👉Version 1.0 is out now, featuring Sir_Nipplington!

What's this all about?

This is a Minecraft resource pack containing sounds featuring various Twitch streamers in CarlCrafts' Hardcore Hearts Stream Team. The long-term goal of the project is to eventually include sounds from every active team member.

Follow The Stream Team

Catch their live streams on Twitch, and tell them Kuoxsr sent you.

How to install

In Minecraft's main menu, click "Options"
Click "Resource Packs."
At the bottom of the screen that appears, click "Open Pack Folder."
Drop the zip file into this folder using your file manager and then return to Minecraft. You should see the pack in the list at the left side of the screen (Available)
Click the arrow on the pack to move it to the right side of the screen (Selected)
Click "Done" and play the game.

Please report any bugs or issues or feature requests you have on the project's Github issues page.

Suggestions for new additions

If you hear a streamer in the Hardcore Hearts Stream Team say something or make a sound that would be a great addition to the pack, do the following:

Take a clip of the word or phrase, and publish it
- Remember to keep a link to the clip
Open an issue on the GitHub page for this project
- Describe the interesting word or phrase from the clip
- Include a link to the clip
- Name the Minecraft event you think the clip would be good for

User-facing changes

Implemented Mojang's new "supported_formats" field in pack.mcmeta, so now when a new version of Minecraft comes out, the pack shouldn't tell you it's "incompatible," because it probably isn't. It also shows compatibility back to version 1.20. (#15)

Infrastructure changes

Adjusted folder structure to match sound event name - I have an automated tool that speeds-up the incorporation of new sounds, but it requires the folder structure to exactly match the sound event names. (d0f0de2, ab97f3a)

Really an "alpha" version that was released only to JazzLikeOnion, since his "death clip" sounds were the only sounds in the pack at the time.

I included four files:

Light fall damage (uhh)
Heavy fall damage (ughh)
Enderman scream (highly processed)
Ghast scream (even more highly processed)
