All bucket and fish items become 3D. Includes Optifine features, like variants of axolotls and tropical fish.

Buckets and Fish items become 3D

This pack is compatible with other texture packs, and their respective textures will be displayed on the models included.

  • Tropical fish (all variants)

Buckets can also be placed in item frames on the ground as decoration, and fish placed as wall mounted fish

CIT features:

This pack does NOT require Optifine to work, but it also adds the following custom item features if Optifine is enabled on 1.21.4 or lower, and included by default on vanilla 1.21.5 and higher:

Catching an axolotl in a bucket will display its variant color and age (as well as whether it's low on health on Optifine <1.21.4)

Renaming Items:

Renaming a tropical fish item to one of the common fish names will give you its respective variant

A chart with all 22 tropical fish variations with their respective names. Their names are the following: Clownfish, Tomato Clownfish, Goatfish, Cotton Candy Betta, Parrotfish, Yellowtail Parrotfish, Triggerfish, Cichlid, Queen Angelfish, Red Lipped Blenny, Dottyback, Anemone, Moorish Idol, Butterflyfish, Ornate Butterflyfish, Empreror Red Snapper, Red Snapper, Red Cichlid, Blue Tang, Black Tang, Yellow Tang, and Threadfin. The Clownfish is marked as (default) underneath its name.

  • Updated the model for the sulfur cube in a bucket.

  • Sulfur cubes that absorbed a block will also display their respective block inside the bucket.

They're compatible with all vanilla blocks that sulfur cubes can absorb, and the block textures will also adapt to other included resourcepacks.

  • Fixed baby axolotls not being detected in buckets
  • Using a golden dandelion on a baby axolotl will also have them show up in buckets regardless of HP

When a baby axolotl is caught in a bucket, it now uses the new baby axolotl model introduced in 26.1.

The new baby axolotls also adapt to texturepacks. If you prefer the previous small adult model, the 1.21.11 pack is still compatible.

  • Patched-in support for baby axolotl buckets in vanilla Minecraft. (They display as long as they aren't hurt and haven't hurt)
  • Added naming for the remaining Bedrock-exclusive tropical fish items: Butterflyfish and Yellow Stripey. Inventory GUI screenshot that shows 2 tropical fish items: Butterflyfish and Yellow Stripey.
  • Tropical fish items now also accept names in all caps.
  • Re-added Optifine support for lava buckets glow.

Previous feature not supported yet:

  • Buckets of axolotl don't change if low on health.

The Optifine features are compatible again with the new components format, as well as a few additions since 1.20.

New optifine-only features:

  • Axolotls switch to their hurt model when their health is lower than 10.
  • Added size variants for buckets of salmon.
  • Added support for Bedrock exclusive fish when renaming the tropical fish items:
    • Tomato clown
    • Blue dory
    • Butterfly fish
    • Yellow Stripey

  • Made backwards compatible with versions down to 1.21.5

Previous features not supported yet:

  • Buckets of axolotl don't display if it's a baby or low on health.
  • Buckets of lava don't glow.

Until Optifine or Minecraft itself add compatibility again for these features, not much can be done for the time being.
