🌙 A Real Dark Mode Pack for Vanilla Minecraft 🌙 No Grey, No Brightness, No Fluff

Stennos Dark Mode 😎

Only modifies the GUI to be a consistent dark color scheme, GUI text to be white, and the Book pages to be darker

GUI / Inventory Screens Textures are simplified to a consistent dark theme ^[1]
GUI Text is White for the en_us file specifically, the rest are standard grey
Book & Quill is much darker so you don't get blinded opening it during late night gaming sessions ^[2]
Dark Title Loading Screen in Settings > Accessibility > Monochrome Logo^[3]

Install

Option 1: Click "Download" button > Install with Modrinth App
Option 2: Download > Launch Minecraft: Java Edition > Resource Packs Menu > Open Resource Packs Folder > Copy Resource Pack Downloaded Zip file here > Resource Packs Game Menu > Click Arrow to move “Stennos Dark Mode” to the right side

FAQ (optifine?)

Is Optifine Needed? No, this pack works on it’s own, now that we have Monochrome Logo loading screens. Thanks Mojang.
What Languages Are Supported in Bright White Font? (All other languages should work fine, but will be the default light grey.) Only the en_us file is included, as I made this for myself and my community. If you really want another language file edited, please let me know and I’ll put it on my to-do list. No guarantees, but it might get done.
Mod Support? I do not play modded, and do not currently plan to add support for mods
Do You Have Other Packs? Yes I do! You can find all of my public packs in my Modrinth Projects Page and find them quickly at linktr.ee/StennosPacks
Can I Use Your Textures? You can use these edited files, and edit them as well, just provide credit to “Stennos.com” in the readme file and do not put the pack behind a Pay Wall.

Various file changes & Edits (created by Stennos.com)

Omitted several small sprites like buttons; these might get re-added in a future version if needed
Changed the en_us fonts to be White; all other languages work but are grey
Changed All GUI items to actually look dark like website dark modes, not just a slightly darker grey
Changed the Book, much darker and then aligned the binding threads
Changed default backgrounds to be much darker, just like the Book
