CNY 16x - Java Port (GUI-Only Edition)

The GUI-Only version of a port of the CNY 16x texture pack from Bedrock Edition to Java Edition
The new year on the Chinese calendar is upon us and it's time for a celebration of... Chinese New Year! This pack is made specifically themed around it as a way to celebrate it. This celebration is also known as the Lunar Festival too for some people!

Differences from the original Bedrock pack

  • Recreated all the GUIs (mostly) from scratch
    • Used the transparent GUIs as the base, courtesy of Vanilla Tweaks

Additional Notes

  • For versions prior to 1.21.3, due to bug MC-165182, translucency are not allowed on most GUIs, which causes them to become opaque instead
    • However, some GUI elements does allow translucency, for example:
      • Creative Inventory (in some older versions)
      • Advancement screen
      • Most stuff in widgets.png and simillar files

CNY 16x Java Port (GUI Only Edition) v1.0.3 (12/12/2025) [1.20-1.21] Sorry for the very delayed update, things happened and I didn't have time to update this pack, until now!

  • Ported the pack to 1.21.9/.10 (The Copper Age) and 1.21.11 (Mounts of Mayhem)
  • Updated the pack.mcmeta file to work with the new supported versions format introduced in 1.21.9
  • Added texture for the Nautilus' GUI
  • Added textures for the Nautilus Armor's and Spear's slot icons
  • Fixed a single miscolored pixel in the empty_slot_ingot.png / ingot.png file
