C418 Songs Only

Just want C418?

What the pack does:

  • Non-C418 background tracks are removed
  • Music discs remain functional
  • One song will not be favoured over another (within a biome's set music list)

What the pack doesn't:

  • Keep non-C418 tracks
  • Replace music discs
  • Add additional C418 music to the game

Be Aware!

  • This resource pack could interfere with other resource packs that tamper with sound files. If it isn't working as intended, try disabling any potentially interfering packs.

  • If the pack is displayed as unsupported, but you have the correct version, you are most likely in an older version of Minecraft. You can safely dismiss the message. It is just a visual bug.

  • POST versions are for 1.20.3 and above

  • PRE versions are for 1.20.2 and below

  • Only trust the latest releases of the pack to work as-intended.

Massive respect to C418, the man commissioned by Notch back in 2009 to compose a simple soundtrack for a silly sandbox game.

  • The pack now values all music the exact same unless you're in the deep dark (no music), nether (nether music except none in warped forest - this is standard), end (end music), menu (menu music), creative (game music + creative music), and underwater (underwater music).

  • hopefully fixed long delays of music by having a separate version for above 1.20.3. In 1.20.3, the sound files for C418 songs changed. Previously, the pack just combined both the file names for below and above 1.20.3, but this likely caused large delays in sounds playing, as the game tries to play a sound that doesn't exist.
  • Removed weighting of songs. Some songs still have priority in certain biomes, but one particular song inside of its own biome group will now no longer have any higher chance than the other songs around it.
  • pack.mcmeta fixes
  • v3 yay.
