Buttery Smooth!
Overhaul your Minecraft player animations and bring them to life! Compatible with almost all animation mods! Including Better Combat, Quark and Emotecraft emotes and Parcool!
Supports both Fabric and Forge
⚙️ INSTALLATION
- Download the latest
Better_Animations.zipfile from the versions tab. - Download the required mods from the Dependencies tab.
- Place the mods and the resourcepack in the appropriate folder. (e.g.
%appdata%/.minecraft/) - Activate the resourcepack from the Resource Packs screen in-game.

Updated and tested on the latest 26.1 update
Adds limb movement to ladder climb animations
Hand in first person should be fixed
I am aware of the broken swimming leg and floating animations, will be fixed soon

This update includes a complete restructure of all the code for the player model for faster resourcepack loading, more responsive animations when switching between states, less glitches during variable calculation, elimination of redundant code
Things that don't work right now:
Swimming animation (up and down)
Falling animation
Things yet to be reworked:
Elyta, capes
Please report any issues you find as soon as possible as version 46 and its subsequent versions is attempting to fix all bugs
Note: Better Expressions will only be updated with the final v46 release once the rework is done. As no new features are being added, it should still be usable (exclusing a maintenance update when the next minecraft version releases)
