ChickenCourier is a lightweight and immersive item delivery plugin for Paper 1.20+ and 1.21+ servers. Instead of instantly transferring items between players, ChickenCourier adds personality and interaction by delivering items through a live in-game courier.

When an item is sent, a courier chicken spawns behind the recipient and physically travels to them using natural pathfinding. The courier navigates terrain, hops over small obstacles, and leaves a visible particle trail as it moves. Upon arrival, the delivery is completed with sound and particle effects, creating a fun and memorable exchange.

ChickenCourier is designed to be simple to use while remaining highly configurable. Server owners can control how and where the courier spawns, adjust delivery behavior, and reload settings without restarting the server. The plugin integrates cleanly with Paper’s pathfinding system and remains lightweight even on active multiplayer servers.

Commands

/send <player> — Send the item in your hand to another player via courier
/courier reload — Reload the configuration
