Wax Instead

Turn honeycombs into hard wax (x3), smelt the hard wax to get a useable wax! 

Requires Fabric API.

 

The usable wax can be used directly on coppper to wax it, or in a crafting table with copper blocks, just like honeycombs. 
One honeycomb now yields two candles (when using wax as a replacement), with one wax leftover.

The candle recipe for wax is two wax stacked on top of each other, with a string on top of them, it yields two candles.

Developers

Wax also introduces a few new tags: waxmod:waxes (all waxes in all of their states + honeycomb), waxmod:softwaxes (only smelted/soft waxes), waxmod:hardwaxes 

Using tags is recommended for any mod adding compatibility as there will likely be new waxes added in the future. 

All vanilla recipes for waxing accept the #waxmod:waxes tag.
