Have you ever noticed that entities move at exactly the same speed on every block? Whether it's concrete or sand, their movement speed is identical - even though, realistically, walking on sand should be more difficult than walking on concrete. This mod changes that

It makes certain blocks affect movement speed, causing living entities to walk faster or slower depending on the surface they're on. This applies to all living entities - only living ones - so it won't affect boats or minecarts

Now there's much more reason to think carefully about what materials you use when building roads and bridges
