Clumpy Bros This mod adds Villager Barrier blocks that stop only Villagers from passing through. This means you can choose where your Villagers can and can't go. The Villager Barrier is invisible, has no bounding box, and can't be broken unless holding the Villager Barrier or the Villager Barrier Detector. They also can be disabled and reenabled again with the Villager Barrier Detector. This allows for open wandering and cool builds without any hassle.

Villager Barrier Detector Uses

The Villager Barrier Detector can be used to do everything stated above but it also has other features.

How to Enable or Disable Barriers

The Villager Barrier Detector allows you to right click the barrier blocks to enable or disable the block. By default all Villager Barrier Blocks are enabled. This means Villagers can't pass through them. If you right click while holding the Villager Barrier Detector to disable the barriers Villagers will now be able to pass through them. You will also get feedback on screen stating whether you are disabling or enabling a Villager Barrier.

How to Tell if a Barrier is Enabled or Disabled

You can tell if a Villager Barrier is disabled by either looking at the color of the barrier or by hovering over a Villager Barrier with the Villager Barrier Detector. If the Villager Barrier Detector says "Villager Barrier is disabled" then that barrier is disabled. There is no text overlay for enabled barriers when hovering over them. The only text for enabled barriers is when enabling them after they have been disabled.

Crafting Recipes

Villager Barrier:
This recipe gives 16 barriers

  • Iron Nugget, Iron Nugget, Iron Nugget
  • Emerald, Emerald, Emerald
  • Iron Nugget, Iron Nugget, Iron Nugget

Villager Barrier Detector:

  • Iron Nugget, Lightning Rod, Iron Nugget
  • Emerald, Glass, Emerald
  • Iron Nugget, Redstone Dust, Iron Nugget

Almost all pressure plates are made with the pressure plate you want and a Villager Barrier placed side by side.

The Distorted Player Pressure Plate has two crafting recipes. The first is the normal way if you have the Cobblemon Distortion World mod installed. The second is made with a Villager Barrier and a blue carpet.

The Apricorn Player Pressure Plate has two crafting recipes. The first is the normal way if you have the Cobblemon mod installed. The second is made with a Villager Barrier and a brown carpet.

The Saccharine Player Pressure Plate has two crafting recipes. The first is the normal way if you have the Cobblemon mod installed. The second is made with a Villager Barrier and a light blue carpet.

The Villager Pressure Plate is made by placing a Villager Barrier in the crafting grid.

  • Nothing should spawn inside the barrier blocks anymore.
  • Added Player and Villager only pressure plates.
    • The Player plates are exactly the same as normal plates except only players can trigger them. All vanilla wooden, stone, and weighted pressure plates are included. There are also the Cobblemon, Cobblemon Distortion World, and Pale Oak pressure plates as well.
    • The Villager version only has one pressure plate to choose from.
    • All but one of the vanilla player pressure plates are made by combining a Villager Barrier and the pressure plate of the texture you want. The Pale Oak pressure plate is made by using white carpet and a Villager Barrier.
    • The Villager Pressure Plate is made by putting a Villager Barrier in the crafting grid.
    • If you do not have the Cobblemon or the Cobblemon Distortion World mod installed the pressure plates will be craftable with carpets and a Villager Barrier. The Apricorn Plate is made using brown carpet, Saccharine is made using light blue carpet and the Distorted is made using blue carpet.
  • The Villager Barrier Detector allows you to hover over the pressure plates to see what type they are. If they are normal it displays nothing.
  • Added a warning message if you try to place something where a Villager Barrier is.
  • The Villager Barrier now will phase in and out when coming closer or going farther from it.
  • The Villager Barrier can now be seen in water.
  • Mobs should have better path finding with the Villager Barrier.
