Truly Modular: Armory

A wide Collections of Modular Armor Modules

Truly Modular: Armory is a Modular Armor Mod with wide ranging support and options

Contents

  • more then 60 Modules split between base sets
  • Crafted Chainmail: a good armor against Projectile Damage
  • Plate Armor: the default Armor
  • Heavy Armor: Heavy Armor, excelent Protection, but moving with Elytra or swimming is difficult with it.
  • Wingsuit: Not much in the way of Protection, but allows for excelent Elytra Performance
  • Scuba: not the best in terms of Protection, but increased Swimspeed
  • Multiple visual/cosmetic options like Banners
  • Truly Modular:Armory is balanced arround providing similar armor values than vanilla, but those are often less than sensible. We recommend the usage of Armor Curve or similar mods to make vanillas armorscalling more sensible

Compat

  • Better Combat is fully supported
  • Truly Modular uses a Automatic compat by default, this means most mods Swords and Materials should get picked up, dedicated compat is possible through datapacks.
    You can use the Material Helper Website to make compat datapacks yourself

FAQ:

  • What Launcher is this for? Forge? Fabric?
    • Both, check the jars
  • Backport to older versions?
    • is not planned. There are many features in Truly Modular witch have a significantly higher priority than backporting. Once the list of ideas is smaller we might consider backporting.
  • is X mod supported?
    • probably? Generative Compatiblity has a high chance of working with most mods out of the box. You can check here for more informations or to report issues
  • Can i write a Addon for this?

  • Can i use this in a Modpack?
    • yes

  • large scale internal rework
    • now it makes usage of module stats for easier addon and adjustments
    • other armor modules now extend default armor modules
    • if you want to work on armor we recommend checking armory and its updated way of doing armor modules.
  • changed all armors durability calculation to closer fit vanilla (thanks @pixale) -> materials can now set armor_durability directly, they are multiplied for each module.
  • changed how armor toughness is calculated -> materials can now define armor_toughness to overwrite it
  • changed heavy armor, scuba and wing calculation for armor points, they now are a flat percentage better or worse then normal armor
  • added gemstone armor (thanks to pixale)
    • amethyst : +0.15 entity interaction range
    • copper : + 0.3 block interaction range
    • conduit : +25% oxygen bonus
    • heart of the sea : +10% swim speed
    • diamond : +400 durability + 50% durability
    • emerald : + 2 luck
    • feather : -25% gravity reduces
    • obsidian : +25% gravity reduces
    • gold : 5% mining efficiency
    • iron : + 1 Unbreaking
    • lapis : +3 luminous learning
    • nether quarz +10% crit chance
    • netherite : +10% armor
    • redstone : 1 speed when attacked (4 s)
    • sculk : +10% sneak speed
