Toxic Sky & Plastic Seas
Toxic Sky & Plastic Seas is a Minecraft mod made for Modfest 1.20 "Sky and Sea".
The mod turns rain into green acid that damages worn and dropped into the world items and generates plastic garbage patches in deep ocean biomes, which can be collected and recycled into plastic armor that is immune to the acid rain.
You can disable acid rain with convertRainToAcidRain game rule or configure which items or entities should not be damaged with #toxsky:immune_to_acid_rain item and entity tags.

- increased supported versions to range from 1.20.1 to 1.20.4 (tested on 1.20.1 and 1.20.4, I assume works for versions in between, won't work in 1.20.6)

Added:
- Block of Recycled Plastic
- replaced normal rain with green acid rain
- can be disabled with
convertRainToAcidRaingame rule - damages items on the ground and equipment on entities under the rain
- skips entities/items in
toxsky:item/immune_to_acid_rainandtoxsky:entity_types/immune_to_acid_raintags - plastic armor and undead are immune to acid rain with default config
- can be disabled with
- Acidproof enchantment
- prevents items from being damaged by acid rain

Adds ocean garbage islands and a simple armor set.
Garbage islands are generated in the deep ocean and can be mined for Plastic Garbage. Plastic Garbage can be crafted into Recycled Plastic, which can be used to craft Recycled Plastic Armor.
This armor has chainmail level of protection, but diamond-like durability.
