Emerald: Increases the damage dealt by the wearer.
Diamond: Provides additional armor protection.

Using the kill command before version 1.7.3 would cause a pseudo-death, in which the player was invincible, their health displayed as 0, and they could not open the inventory interface. This bug existed in the original version, and it was fixed in version 1.7.4. Similar bugs caused by other mods would also be fixed.
