Crafting in Spirit revolves around englufing objects in Soul Fire. You can use JEI or REI to view all the recipes in Spirit. If you want some further explanation, this video by SirColor does an excellent job explaining what the main functions of Spirit are

Spirit has a number of features designed to enhance your experience when it comes to soul magic in Minecraft

Using souls you can:

  • Summon Monsters
  • Empower Tools
  • Transmute Mobs into other mobs
  • Craft items with soul fire
