Sound-Track

Description

This mod adds jukebox and noteblock minecarts, which behave in line with their vanilla blocks!

Features

Sound-Track adds two minecarts, implementing their block relatives:

Jukebox Minecarts

  • Can be interacted with like a normal Jukebox
  • Can stop/start playback with activator rails
  • Can read identical comparator value as Jukebox with detector rails

Noteblock Minecarts

  • Can be interacted with like a normal Jukebox
  • Won't instantly break when hit in creative
  • Can be played with an activator rail

When the 1.20 datapack is enabled, mob heads (not on walls) can be played by minecart note blocks below.

New in 1.0.5: Refactored the codebase, allowing for easier adding of custom carts. This is demoed by using a test version of phonos with entity source support. PR pending there.

Also added support for the Stormfest charged music disc, which when played starts a thunderstorm. This is an optional dependency.

New in 1.0.4: Phonos support, subtitles, stats, oh my!

Added in support for FoundationGames wonderful mod, Phonos! Now you can use those creative music discs for fun sounds while riding the rails. Subtitles will now display in a similar manner to jukeboxes, with the text "Now playing: Sound Description" displaying the MusicDiscItem description, or if it is a CustomMusicDiscItem from Phonos, the subtitle description of the sound, or if not available, the translation name of the phonos music disc item. Music discs played and Note blocks tuned statistics will now increment while using their minecart versions.
