Skyfall: Meteorites

a mod based around meteorites and other things that fall from the sky
Currently it adds 3 sizes of Meteorites, 3 summonable Events with one of them naturally occurring and 1 command ( /skyfall ) for summoning all meteorites and events. It also adds multiple Items and Blocks related to the meteorites. Most of the features in this mod can also be configured.
BE AWARE, THAT IT COULD CAUSE MAJOR PERFORMANCE DROPS ON SERVERS/LOWER END PCs.
Meteorites can be made out of different materials, which have different properties like for example, the basic meteorite is made out of Sky Rock and it can have a Block of Stardust in its center if its size is big enough.
Sky Rock is a special type of stone that consists of many different materials, it acts similar to gilded blackstone when mined, which means that it randomly drops itself or a different material.
Stardust is the main resource of this mod, its used for many recipes and to power blocks like the Skyfall Protector or the Mysterious Crate. It can be found inside of meteorites or the structures of this mod, it also has a chance to drop when a Skyfall Protector shoots a meteorite.
The Skyfall Protector can be charged with Stardust, if charged it will target and destroy incoming meteorites.
Mysterious Crates can also be filled with Stardust, which will open them and reveal their loot, they can be found in the center of meteorites that are made out of blackstone.
Skyforged Tools can be obtained from the Mysterious Crate loot, their stats are similar to golden tools, they have high efficiency and enchantability but low durability, the difference to golden tools is that all stats are higher than the stats of golden tools.
Astral Attraction Runes (version 2.0.0 and later) are also a drop of Mysterious Crates, they can be used to call down 1 big sized meteorite, but be aware that the meteorite will land on the position where you used the rune.
The Astral Repulsion Beacon (version 2.0.0 and later) is also an option to protect yourself from meteorites. Its range can be extendet by placing Stardust Blocks beneath it, the range can also be visualized by powering the block with redstone. Unlike the Skyfall Protector, this beacon will completely stop all meteorites from falling within its range and therefore it also eliminates all gains from meteorites.
You should watch out for weird blueish glowing blocks because there could be a very unpleasant (and slightly parasitic) surprise inside of this slimy substance.

-added the "Long-Range Attractor", a creative-only item to call different kinds of meteorites from afar
-added "Crystalized Stardust", a new version of stardust which can be obtained by smelting stardust
-added the "Starlight Flare", a item which can be thrown and can act as a signal to other players, it can be obtained by combining skyrock and crystalized stardust
-added custom splashes to meteorites when they hit water
-added a performance section to the config
-aliens can now be disabled in the config
-changed some recipes to use crystalized stardust instead of regular stardust
-wandering traders can now trade skyrock and stardust clusters
-added a hint to the opening method of the mysterious crate
-slightly changed some textures and deleted some unnecessary assets

-added a new Block: the "Astral Repulsion Beacon":
- it will completely stop meteorites from spawning in a big range
- you can give it more range by placing stardust blocks below it in a pillar shape
- when powered by redstone it will show the range and will send a particle beam downwards to indicate where it will detect stardust blocks
- the beacon beam that reaches into the sky cannot be dyed and is also purely visual, which means that even if you block it out, the block will still function
-added a new Item: the "Astral Attraction Rune":
- it will call down a medium sized meteorite
- only has a single use
- they can be optained through opening mysterious crates
-added multiple new structures where you can find stuff from the mod
-added meteorites for the alien eggs
-vastly improved the angry moon's landing
-improved how medium and large sized meteorite detect their own crater, this should fix meteorites some times generating inside the ground without having a crater
-if aliens are on your head they can now be easily removed by setting yourself on fire, they will also fall of by themselvs after some time
-improved and expanded the config of the mod: for example you can now add and remove dimensions where meteorites or meteor showers should be able to occur [Your config will be reset with this update!]
-added a sound when meteorites spawn
-added a little shine effect to stardust that drops from meteorites shot by a skyfall protector, this should make it much easier to spot when and where the item drops
-added a small compatibility between this mod and "ad astra" by giving the aliens from this mod the ability to breath on other planets, fun fact: the aliens also had compat with "nyfs spiders" since the release of this mod
i also probably changed or added some other stuff i forgot to mention here, but it's probably some small stuff anyway, so no one should care

-the alien cocoons can now rarely be in the core of a sky rock meteorite
-added the ability to the aliens to also cling to players, if they sit on your head you can either get them off by taking damage from any source except the aliens, or just running the command for removing aliens
-added a new advancement for having an alien on your head
-fixed the falling speed of the stardust block in multiplayer
-fixed the fog color transition of the 2 meteorite-events not always transitioning from the correct fog color
(1.19.2 version might still have some bugs but it should still work)
